Johnson if &.c to answer &.c afterwards in the same Court Came the said Purnal Johnson and being by the Sherr Sett to the Barr is thereupon Instantly demanded how he would Acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd saith that he is Guilty thereof and prays that he may be admitted to pay thirty Shillings for his fine for the fact afd &.c Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said Purnall Johnson be fined thirty Shillings to his Lordship for the fact afd toward the defraying of the County Charge and that he be taken &.c thereupon the said Purnall Johnson is discharged from the Presentmt afd he paying the severall Officers their fees due by means of the premisses afd &.c Mary Trewitt Exrx of Jno Trewitt produceth a receipt that she had paid them their parts of the Estate of the said Jn.o Trewitt &c thereupon she is discharged &c Edmond Hough appears according to his recognizance entered into and is discharged &c W.m Bratton appears according to his Recognizance Entered into for his appearance this Court & is discharged &.c Jn.o Sturges appears according to his Recognizance Entered into for his appearance this Court and is discharged Rob.t Downs appears according to his Recognizance Entered into for his appearance this Court and is discharged &a
Whereupon the said Richard Hudson with Joseph Scholfeild his security both present here in Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto His Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors in the sum of twenty pounds Sterling to be Levied of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements seperately to be Levied for the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above Bounden Richard Hudson do and Shall make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of June then Next to answer unto his said Ldsp Concerning all Such Matters and things as shall be then and there objected against him on his Lordships behalfe and to stand and abide the Judgmt of the Court thereon and ^do^ not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof then the above Recognizance to be void &c |
