65 Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray that your worships will order Commission to Such persons as your worship's shall think proper to Examine wittnesses to Perpetuate the boundarys thereof according to the form of the act of assembly in Such Case made and provided Jno MccClester, Jos: MccClester, Levin Gale The Petition afd being read and heard and Mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Court that a Commission ^Issue^ to the afd John McClester Joseph MccClester and Levin Gale as by their Petition afd is praid And that Robert King John Leatherbury Thomas Gillis and W.m Bozman of Somersett County Gent.m be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission according to Law &c
persuaded me to bind the Child which I unadvisedly did And now finding him hardly dealt by humbly prays that your worships will give her an Order to have the Child that she may take Care to putt him to a better place and your Petitioner as in duty bound shall for your worships Ever pray The Petition afd being read and heard and all and Singular the prmisses as well on the Part of the afd Petitioner as on the part of the afd John Harper and their Severall Allegations on both sides by the Court being fully Understood and mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Court that John Mathews son of the afd Jane Mathews from his Service afd be acquitt and that the Indenture afd be adjudged not good &.c Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the afd Jane Mathews give good security to save and Endempnifie somersett County from all burthens troubles Charges and Incumbrances that might accrew by means of the afd Jno Mathews son of the afd Jane Mathews manumision Thereupon a Certain Jno Atkinson present here in Court undertakes for the said James Mathews and they both acknowledged them selves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship his heirs and Successors in the sum of fifty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull mony of England to be Levied of their bodys goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Seperately for the Use of Somersett County if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of the above recognizance is Such that if the above Bounden Jane Mathews do and Shall from time to time and at all times forever hereafter save and Endempnifie Somersett County from all burthens troubles, Costs, Charges and Incumbrances that might accrew by |
