Upon the mocon of Mr Jno Scott for the repairing of the Court house and prison at
dividing Creek in the County of somersett &c
                                                                   Thereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the
said John Scott agree with some person for the repairing of the Court house and prison ^afd^ that
will do it best and Cheapest for the Interest of the County afd &c

To the Worshipfull Justices of the peace for somersett County in Court
Judicially sitting
                                   The petition of John Jenifer Osbourn humbly
sheweth
                   That your Petitioner is possessed of a tract of Land in the County afd Called Hammons
folly the boundarys thereof are decayed and the wittnesses to prove them Antient
and Infirm Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays that your worships will pleas to Issue
Commission to four Persons to Examine Evidences (to perpetuate the boundary's of the said ^land^)
according to the form of the act of assembly in such Case made and provided and your Petitioner
as in duty bound will pray                        John Jenifer Osbourn

             The Petition afd being Read and heard and mature deliberation thereupon had
Wherefore it is Considered by the Court that a Commission Issue as by the Petition afd is prayd
and that John Donelson, James Martin, Edward Rownd, and James Rownd of somersett County
Gent.m be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission according to Law &c

    Thomas Creed a servant to Thomas Newbold Comes into Court and Confeseth that he had
absented and runaway (out of his former master Jno Tilman's Service) five days &c
       whereupon the said Thomas Newbold prays that he may be adjudged to serve him for
the runaway time afd according to Law &c
                                                                   Thereupon it is Considered by the Court that
the said Thomas Creed serve his said Master Thomas Newbold four days for every one day
he runaway as afd which in the whole amounts to Twenty days The said Thomas Creed to serve his
said Master Thomas Newbold the full term of time afd to Commence at the Expiration of his
already Servitude which is adjudged full Satisfaction for the runaway time afd and all trouble
Costs Damages and Charges that accrewed by means of the runaway time afd &c

Upon the Complaint of a Certain Daniel Luke of accomack county in the Colony of vergenia
against a Certain Abraham Smith of Somersett County who detained a Certain Amy Luke in his
Custody who had a real Estate in the Colony of Vergenia &.c   thereupon it is Ordered by the
Court that a Sumons Issue for the said Abraham Smith and Amy Luke that they be and
appear at June Court next to answer the Complaint afd &c
