for the use of the said Nicholas Gray his heirs and assigns if default be made in the Condition
hereunder written

            The Condition of the above recognizance is such that if the above Bounden
Nicholas Warren do and shall during the Servitude of the afd Nicholas Gray Learn him
to read and write and the trade of a Shoemaker and at the Expiration of his Servitude
give him a sett of Shoemakers Tooles and Likewise find and provide for his Said
Servant meat drink washing Loging and Cloathing during his Servitude mete for such
a servant to have and wear &.c   Then the above recognizance to be void and of none
effect otherwise &c

Upon the petition of William Waltom  It is ordered by the Court that the said William
Waltom and Isaac Marshall be Overseers and Clear a road from Synapuckson Bridge
to Isaac Marshalls &c

    Charles Hall appointed Constable of Annamessex hundred in the stead of Colebourn
Taylor for the Ensueing Year &.c being present here in Court tooke the Severall Oaths
appointed to the Government and Subscribed the oath of abjuration and test and took
the Oath of Constable &c

To the Worshipfull Justices of Somersett County Court the humble petition
of James Hayman
                                   Sheweth that your Petitioner hath a tract of
          of Land whose Bounds is far decayd and he prays ^that^ the Court may appoint Commissioners
       to Examine evidences according to Law on the said Land being Called hopewell Containing
       three hundred and fifty acres and your Petitioner as in duty bound shall pray

                The petition afd being read and heard and mature deliberation thereupon had
       Wherefore it is Considered by the Court that a commission Issue to the afd James Hayman as
       by the petition afd is praid and that George Dashiell, John Leatherbury, Thomas Gillis
       and Henry Ballard Gent.n be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission according to Law &.c

Dorothy & James Phillips
Whereas the Commisary Generall hath transmitted into this Court the
Ballance of the Estate ^of^ Richard Phillips dec.d wherein it is found that there
is a ballance due unto Dorothy and James Phillips orphans of the afd rich.d
                                     Phillips to thirteen pounds ten shillings &.c
                whereupon the said John Jones of Somersett County Gent Executor of the afd richard Phillips
             is Ordered to give Security to the afd Dorothy and James Phillips for the payment of the
             afd thirteen pounds ten shillings &c     
                                                                            Thereupon the said John Jones with George Dashiell
             his security both present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
