of which Servitude the said William Scott undertakes to Learn the said Robert Wood dureing his ^servitude^ to read write and Cypher and the trade of a shoemaker and at the Expiration of his servitude to give him a sett of Shoemakers Tooles and to find him sufficient meat drink washing Loging and Cloathing mete for such a servant to have and wear &c Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that the afd William Scott give good security for to Comply with the Covenants aforesaid Thereupon the said William Scott with William Hall his Security both present here in Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the said Robert Woods in the sum of forty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull mony of England to be Levied of the bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenenements ^Joyntly and Severally^ for the use of the said Robert Woods his heirs or assigns if default be made in the Condition hereunder written &c The Condition of the above recognizance is such that if the above Bound William Scott do and shall during the Servitude of the said Robert Woods Learn him to read write and Cypher And At the Expiration of his servitude give him a sett of Shoemakers tooles and find him Sufficient meat drink washing Loging and Cloathing during his servitude afd mete for such a servant to have and wear then the above recognizance to be void &c otherwise &c
In consideration of which Servitude the said Nicholas Warren undertakes to learn ye said Nicholas Gray to read and write and the trade of a Shoemaker and at the Expiration of his Servitude to give him a sett of Shoemakers Tooles and to find and provide for him Sufficient meat drink washing Loging and cloathing mete for Such a Servant to have and wear during his Servitude afd &c Thereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the afd Nicholas Warrent give recognizance with One Security to Comply the Covenants afd &c Whereupon the said Nicholas Warrent with William Walton his Security both present here in court acknowledged themselves to Owe sand Stand Justly Indebted unto the said Nicholas Gray in the sum of forty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull mony of England to be Levied of the goods and Chattells Lands or tenements Joyntly and Seperatly for |
