A Copy of the foregoeing declaration and Acco was made and Sent to be served
the ^afd^ Deft with the writt in the plea afd         Att which said third tuesday of november
to witt the twenty first day of the same month Anno Dom one thousand seven Hundred &
twenty Seven Being the day of the return of the said writt Cometh the afd Jno Murray
by his attorney afd and the sherr of Somersett County to whom the foregoeing writt was
directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return thereof to the Court here endorsed in
these words following vizt      Cepi Corpus declaration delivered in time p Fran Allen sherr

       Whereupon the afd Philip Taylor in his own proper person appears and
thereupon and the said Philip Taylor at the prayer of the plft.s attorney afd is
adjudged to give speciall Bail to the Action afd But for want thereof the said Philip
Taylor at the prayer of the plft.s attorney afd is Committed into the Custody of the sherr
of Somersett County thereto remain &.c the said sherr present here in Court took Charge
of the said Philip Taylor accordingly   And afterwards in the same Court Came againe ye
said Phillip Taylor in his proper person in custody as aforesaid and he says that he Cannon
gainsay but that he did assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the aforsaid ^John^ above
against him hath declared nor but that he Owes the aforesaid John the afd Six hundred and
Eighty One pounds of tobacco and the declaration in all the words before expressly confesseth
&c         Therefore it is considered by the Court here the twenty first day of Novem
Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty seven that the afd John Murray recover
against the afd Philip Taylor six hundred and Eighty One pounds of tobacco his
damages afd above in the declaration afd Expressed as also two hundred and seventy four
pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that part expended by
the Court here of his assent to the same John adjudged and the afd deft in Mercy &c

       And afterwards to witt the same day and year Last mentioned the said Philip Taylor ^being^
present here in Court in his proper Person in Custody of the sherr of Somersett County afd and
thereupon the said Philip at the prayer of the afd Jno by his attorney afd is Committed into the
Custody of the said Sherr there to remaine untill the said John of his damages afd should be
fully satisfyed &.c the said sherr Present here in Court tooke Charge of ye sd Philip accordingly &c
