attorneys afd and the same attorney of the afd George saith that he is not informed by the same George his
Clyant of any answer for the ^same^ George to the afd John ^in the plea afd^ to be given and nothing else thereof saith by which the same
John remaines against the afd George thereof undefended &c

       wherefore the afd John Bishop his damages by occasion of the premisses against the afd George Pope
Ought to recover whereupon at the prayer of the afd John and by the Consent of the afd George for the
Justices here to assess the damages of the same John according to act of assembly in Such Case made and
provided &.c   the same Justices soon after do say that the afd John hath sustained no damage by occasion
of the premisses &c

             Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd John Bishop take nothing by his writt afd
but that he and his pledges of prosecuting that is John Doe and Richard Roe be in mercy and that the afd
George Pope goe thereof without day &c  also it is Considered that the afd George Pope recover ag.t
637   the afd John Bishop Six hundred & thirty seven                        pounds of tobacco for his Costs and
Charges by him about his defence in that part Expended to the same George by the Court here according to the
form of the statute in such Case Lately made and provided adjudged and that the same Geo: have thereof
execution &c

 Somersett fs  Mary Brown Late of Somersett County Gent was sumoned
to answer unto Isaac Morris and Esther his wife Exrx of the Last
will and testament of William Skirvan Late of Somersett County Gent
dec.d of a plea that she render unto them One gold Chain & Locket
       of the value of twelve pounds Curr.t Mony which from them she unjustly Detaines &c

And whereupon the same Isaac and Esther by Levin Gale their attorney Complaines that
whereas they the said Isaac and Esther by Levin Gale their attorney Complaines that
whereas they the said Isaac and Esther the tenth day of June Anno Dom one thousand
Seven hundred and twenty five was possessed of one gold Chain & Locket of the value of
twelve pounds Curr Mony as part of the Estate of the afd William Skirvan and so
thereof being possessed the same Isaac and Esther the said Chain & Locket
out of their hands and possession Lost and was wanting ^which^ with said Chain & Locket
afterwards to witt the same day and Year afd at the County afd within the afd Jur
to the hands and possession of the afd Mary By finding Came and in her hands and
possession Yet is by which Action hath Accrued to the same Isaac and Esther to have and
Require of the afd Mary the Chain and Locket afd Yet the afd Mary tho' often thereto required
the afd Chain and Locket unto the same Isaac and Mary hath not rendered ^but^ by the same
Mary the same hitherto to Doe hath altogether Denyed and still Doth Deny & unjustly
Detain whereby the same Isaac and Esther says they are worse & hath Damage to the Value of
Twenty pd.s Currt Mony & thereof he Brings this suite &c         L Gale P Quer Pledges &c  Jno Doe Richd Roe
