1727 27 worse and hath Damage to the value of fifty pounds Curr.t Money of Maryland & thereof ^upon^ he brings this Suite &c Dashiell P Quer Pledges &.c Jn.o Doe R Roe And the said Isaac Rappoon by Levin Gale his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &c and prays Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd plft here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the sixteenth day of august anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty six Came againe as well the afd John Parker as the afd Isaac Rappoon by their attorneys afd and the afd Isaac by his said attorney thereupon prayed further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Plft here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the fifteenth Day of Novem Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty six Came again as well the afd John Parker as the afd Isaac Rappoon by their attorneys afd and the afd Isaac Rappoon by his said attorney thereupon Prayed further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same Day is given to the afd Plft here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the twenty first Day of March Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred and twenty six Came again as well the afd John Parker as the afd Isaac Rappoon by their attorneys afd and the afd Isaac by his said Attorney as before defends ye force and Injury when &c and Says that he is not guilty of the premisses above upon him Imposed in manner and form as the plft against him hath Complained and of this he putts himselfe upon the Country and ye afd Plft in like manner &c Thereupon Command is given to the sherr of Somersett County that Immediately he Cause to Come here twelve &.c by whom &.c who neither &.c to recognize &c because as well &.c and which said preceipt the said Sherr to witt Francis Allen Gent Now here at this day to witt the same day and year Last mentioned makes Return that of that he hath here ready twelve &.c as by his said precept he was Commanded and now hereafterwards to witt the Same day and year Came as well the afd Plft as the afd deft by their attorneys afd and the Jurors of that Jury therein Impannelled being Called Came to witt Charles Cottingham, Henry Toadvine, Christopher Glass, William MccClammey Isaac Marshall, Lewis Disharoon Edward Beachamp, Moses Driskill, Giddion Tilman, Mathew Purnall, Henry Alexander and Thomas Billings, who being duely Elected tryed and Sworn to Say the truth in the premisses upon their oath do say that the afd Isaac Rappoon is guilty of the Premisses as the afd John Parker above against him hath Complained and do assess the damages of the same John by occasion of the premisses afd beyond his Costs and Charges by him about his suite in that Part Expended to forty five shillings Curr.t money and for those Costs and Charges to one pounds of tobacco Butt because the Court here of their Judgm.t of and upon the premisses afd to render as yett will advise day thereof is given the parties afd untill the next Court of hearing their Judgm.t of and upon the premisses afd for that the Court here thereof as yett &c Att which said next Court to witt the twentieth day of June Ann.o Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty seven Came againe ye parties afd by their attorneys afd and because the Court here of their Judgmt of and upon the premisses afd to render as yett will advise day therefore is further given the partyes afd untill the next Court of ^hearing^ their Judgm.t of and upon the premisses afd for that ye Court here thereof as yett &a att |
