                           Nathaniel Horsey late of Somerset County Marriner was attached to answer unto
Richard Waters of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.c

                         And Whereupon the same Richard Waters by Levin Gale his attorney Complains that whereas the afd Nathaniel
Horsey the tenth day of November seventeen hundred and twenty Eight at Somerset County within the Jurisdiction of this Court
was Indebted unto the Same Richard in the Sum of thirteen pounds fourteen shillings and Eight pence Currant money as by
account herewithin Court produced may appear and so thereof being Indebted the said Nathaniel in Consideration thereof
afterwards to witt the same day and year afd at the County afd within the afd Jurisdiction upon himselfe assumed and to the
same Richard then and there faithfully did promise that he when afterwards he should be requested the afd sum of thirteen
pounds fourteen shillings and Eight pence to the Same Richard he would well and faithfully Content and pay Nevertheless the
Same Nathaniel his promise and assumption afd in form afd made Little Regarding but plotting and fraudulently Intending him
the Same Richard in that part Craftilly and Subtilly to defraud and deceive he the afd Sum of thirteen pounds fourteen
Shillings and Eight pence Currant Money nor any part thereof to the Same Richard hath not paid or him for it in any
wise Contented altho' the said Nathaniel the Same to doe afterwards to wit the Same day and year afd at the County
afd and within the afd Jurisdiction by the Same Richard was thereto Requested but ^he^ the same to doe hath altogethere
refused and still doth Refuse whereby the Same Richard says he is worse and hath damage to the value
of twenty pounds Currant money and thereof he brings Suite &.c   L Gale P Qur Pledgs &c  Jno Do R Richd

9.ber 13 1729   Then Came before me (the subscriber one of his Majesties Justices of the peace for the County of Kent) Richard Waters
and upon his Solemn affirmation declared that the above account is Just and true and that there is now due to him the sum of thirteen
pounds fourteen shillings and Eight pence affirmed Coram me                                             Tim.y Hanson

Kent County Sp: Decl ss   Att the Request of the said Richard Waters  I do hereby Certifie that the above or before Named
Timothy Hanson Esq.r one of his Majestyes Justices of the peace for the County of Kent on Delaware afd duely qualified
therefore  In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Seal of said County this 14.th day of 9.ber 1729
