Somersett ss  Know all men by these presents that we Mary Ennis Charles Bishop and
Henry Jerman all of Somersett County in the province afd Planters are holden and firmly bound
unto Mary Ennis Cornelius Ennis Samuel Ennis Peirce Ennis John Ennis Ann Ennis Eliz.a
                                  Ennis orphans of Cornelius Ennis in the full and Just Sum of fifty five pounds Eight shill.s
and Two pence Currant money to be paid the said Mary Cornelius, Samuel, Peirce, John, Ann and Eliz.a Ennis their
heirs Executors administrators or assignes to the which payment well and truely to be made we bind us and Every of
us our and Every of our heirs Executors and administrators Joyntly and Severally in and for the whole firmly
by these presents Sealed with Our Seales and dated the Sixteenth day of June anno Dom 1730


               The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that Whereas the Commissary Generall hath transmitted
               into this Court the account of the Estate of Cornelius Ennis dec.d wherein it is found that there is Ballance
due to the above and Orphans the Sum of Twenty Seven pounds fourteen shillings and One penney Currant money
If Therefore the said Mary Ennis Charles Bishop and Henry Jerman or any of them or Either of their heirs
Executors or administrators shall well and truely pay or Cause to be paid unto the afd Orphans the afd Sum of
Twenty seven pounds fourteen shillings and One penny to be paid them according to the will of the Said decd and act
of assembly in Such Case made and provided when they shall attain to full age &c  Then the above Obligation to be
void and of None Effect Els to remain in full force and vertue                                                her

Maryland somerset COunty ss:

          In Obedience to an act of assembly in Relation to Guardians & orphans the Subscribers vizt
Ephraim Heather and James Rownd being Nominated by a Commissioner Capt John Smith and accordingly on the Eighth
day of aprill 1730  we the said Ephraim Heather and James Rownd entered on the Lands and Plantation of a Certain
orphan Named Richard Hill under the Guardianship of a Certain William Simpson which said Lands and
Plantation has on the seaboard side down a neck Called Hills neck &.c and being sworn on the holy Evangelist
viewed the said Land and plantation and fine one Logd dwelling house the dimentions of 20 foot Long and
15 wide single Covered One other Loged house in the woods of the Same dimentions single Covered and
both in bad repair alsoe in one out house framed with the parts and Studs in the Ground 25 & 15 single
Cover'd and very much decay'd and out of repair as also an old apple Orchard about 55 trees and some
Quince and peach trees standing thick together and Some Young apple trees planted and torn to peices and
about 12 hundred pannells of fence very much decayed and out of repair some of the pannells on Stilts
and some on Cratches we also allow ye said Gardian the Liberty of Clearing ^Ground^ upon any part of the said
Orphans Land that is adjoyning and COnvenient to the said Plantation not Exceeding fifty acres of Land
so Cleared with Liberty of Getting Logs framing timber and boards upon any part of the Said Orphans Land
only for the Necessary Use of the said Orphans Plantation fenceing and houses in order that the Said
Guardian may thereby raise the Rents and defray the Charges of the said houses orchards and fenceing
