235 declared upon Oath that he had Sold the afd Bryan to the afd Gray for Seven Years &c and likwise heard the severall allegations as well on the Part of the afd Petitioner as on the part of the same Bryan and maturally Considered the same &c Wherefore it is ordered by the Court that the afd Richard Bryan Returne whome into his masters Service and Serve Out the Seven Years according to the tenor of his Indentures &c George West appointed Overseer of the roads in stead of Jones Records for the Ensuing Year &c
the now road that now Leadeth from Our Severall plantations to Snow hill on Markett place and also to Church and we are Now apprehensive that it will be ^stopt^ up by a person that Says he will Clear a corn feild in the forks ^of^ Branches that the said Road leads through therefore we humbly pray your worship's order that we may Clear and maintain the afd road as heretofore we have done and we as in duty bound shall Ever pray Fisher Waltom, Stephen Waltom, Wm Cord Thomas Robins, Wm Arnold, Nehemiah Holland The Petition afd being read and heard and fully understood It is therefore ordered by the Court that the Petitioners afd keep Clear and maintain the road afd for their Publick good as formerly &c
four hundred and forty three acres the boundary's of which are decayed and therefore humbly prays your worships to appoint Commissioners to Examine Wittnesses Concerning the bounds of ^the^ Said land according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided and your Petitioner as in duty bound will pray William Holland The Petition afd being read and heard and fully understood Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that a Commission ^Issue^ to the aforesaid William Holland as by the petition afd is praid and that John Smith, John Miller, William Smith and John Till all of Somersett County Gentlemen be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided &c
