                            John Tilman late of somersett County planter was attached to
answer unto Marg.t Waile of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c
                                                          And whereupon the said Margrett by Levin Gale attorney Complaines
that whereas the afd Marg.t the tenth day of July anno Dom One thousand seven Hundred and twenty
eight at somerset county within the Jurisdiction of this Court was possessed of one gelding of the
value of ten pounds currant money as her proper Giulding and so thereof possessed being the
same Marg.t the same Guelding afterwards out of her hands and possession Casually lost and
wanting which said Guelding afterwards to witt the afd day and year at the county afd and within
the afd Jurisdiction to the hands of the afd John Tilman by finding came nevertheless the said John
Knowing the Guelding af to be the proper Guelding of the said Marg.t to her of right to belong butt
plotting and fraudulently Intending her the said Marg.t in that part Craftilly and Subtilly to deceive
and defraud the Guelding afd altho' often thereto requested unto the said Marg.t hath not delivered
but the guelding afd afterwards that is to say the same day and year afd at the County afd within the
Jurisdiction afd to his Own proper use and behoofe did dispose and Convert whereby the said Marg.t
says she is worse and hath damage to the value of twenty pounds Curr.t mony and thereof she brings
this suite &.c            L Gale P Quer Pledges &.c  Jno Doe Richd Roe

                            And the afd Marg John Tilman by Francis Allen his attorney Comes and defends the
force and Injury when &.c and prays Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it
and the same day is given to the afd Plft here also &.c

                            Att which said next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of march anno Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and twenty Eight Came again as well the afd Margt Waile as the afd John Tilman by
their attorneys afd  And whereupon the afd John Tilman by his said attorney prayed further Leave thereof
to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd plft
here also &.c
                                 Att which said next Court to witt the seventeenth day of June anno Dom One
thousand seven hundred and twenty nine came againe as well the afd Margrett Waile as the afd
John Tilman by their attorneys afd and whereupon the afd John Tilman by his said attorney prayed
further Leave to Imparle thereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is given
to the afd plft here also &c
                                                       Att which said next Court to witt the Ninteenth day of August
Ann.o Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty Nine Came againe as well the afd Marg.t Waile
as the afd John Tilman by their attorneys afd and whereupon the afd John Tilman by his said
attorney prayed further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the
same day is given to the afd Plft here also &c

day of November anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty Nine Came againe as
well the afd Margrett Waile as the afd John Tilman by their attorneys afd and whereupon the
