five pence currant mony of maryland as by an acco.t herewithin Court produced may appear and
so thereof being indebted the said Henry Alexander in his Lifetime afterwards to witt the same day and year
afd at the County afd and within the afd Jurisdiction upon himselfe assumed and in his lifetime then and there
faithfully promised that he when afterwards he should afterwards be thereto requested he the afd sum of
forty two pounds four shillings and five pence Curr.t mony unto the Same John Would well and faithfully
Content and pay nevertheless the same Henry Allexander in his lifetime and the afd Rachell since
his death to whom administration of the goods and Chattells rights and Creditts of the Same Henry Allexander
was in due form of Law Committed the promise and assumption afd of the afd Henry Allexander
so as afd made Little regarding but plotting and fraudulently Intending him the Same John Hendry in
this part craftilly and subtilly to defraud and deceive neither the afd Henry Alexander in his Life
time nor the afd rachell since his death the afd Sum of forty two pounds four Shillings and five pence
Currant mony nor any part thereof unto the same John Hath ^not^ paid altho' the Same Henry in his life
time and afterwards in his Life time viz.t the same day and year afd and the afd rachell since his
death viz.t the tenth day of June One thousand Seven hundred and twenty seven at Somersett County
afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court were thereto requested but they and Every of them the
same hitherto to pay or the same John Hendry for it in anywise to Content hath altogether
refused and still doth refuse whereby the Same John says he is worse and hath damage to the
value of fifty pounds Curr.t mony of maryland and thereof he brings this Suit &c
