Angello Atkinson
       Petn
    To the worshipfull Justices of somersett County in Court now sitting the humble
petition of Angello Atkinson prays your worships that they will be
pleased for to grant a commission to assertaine the bounds of a Certain tract of
Land called Coopers purchase and your petitioner as in duty bound shall every pray   Angello Atkinson

          The Petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had &.c

                                  Wherefore it is Considered by the Court her that a Commission Issue to the afd Angello
Atkinson as by the Petition afd is praid and that John Scott, Wm Lane, Wm Handy and Robert Mitchell
of Somersett County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission according to Law &c


Upon the mocon of Hugh Porter of Somersett County Gent to this Court for to have the houses (at ye Court house)
where Philip Taylor now lives and the Land belonging to the Court house for pasturing &.c

             Whereupon the Court agrees with the afd Hugh Porter for to pay unto Mr John Caldwell two hundred
and sixteen pounds of tob.o being due for quitt rents of the afd land and the ^he the said Hugh Porter^ Should have and we the afd Henry
and Land for One Year Commenceing this term; and for Every Year after that the said Hugh Porter
shall have ^&^ use the afd Houses and Land; to pay to the use of somersett County three hundred hundred pounds
of tobacco &c


Jno Purnall of Somersett County Gent produceth his Lordships Commission as high sher of [illegible] County
afd who took the severall oaths to the Government with the oath of sher and Subscribed the oath of
abjuration and test and past bond according to Law &c

       Hugh Porter and Jn.o Dennis Jun.r of the County afd is Offered as his deputys and is approved of
and took the severall oaths to the Government with the oath of under sher and Subscribed the oath
of abjuration and test &c


James Martin and Jn.o Handy of somersett County Gent for the future to have three thousand six hundred
pounds of tobacco Each P year for keeping ferrys at their respective places &c


Upon the Petition of Day Scott for to have Coll Levin Gale adjudged as his Councill assumsitt
Mr francis Allen &.c   thereupon the said Levin Gale is ^by the Court^ assigned as councill for the said Day Scott
in the Cause afd &c

Upon the petition of Robert Hill for to have Levin Gale of somersett County Esq.r assigned as his Councill
against of Nehemiah Holland &.c   Thereupon the said Levin Gale is by the Court assigned as Councill for
the said Robert Hill in ye Cause afd &c

The Court agrees with Jno Bishop to keep (and provide Sufficient meat drink washing Lodging
and Cloathing mete for Thomas Williams an Object (mete for such an Object to have & wear) and
he to have after the rate of twelve hundred pounds of tobacco p year &c
