suit of John White of Marumsco and that he ye said Alex.d would take him the said William by the nose
and pull him of the bench &c

                Whereupon the said Alexander Wordie being Present herein Court is ordered to give recognizance
for his good behaviour and appearance at the next Court to be held for Somersett County at dividing Creek
the third tuesday of March next &c

                         Whereupon the afd Alexander Wordie with George Dashiell his security both
present herein Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the
right honrble the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland in the sum of five pounds Sterling
good and Lawfull mony of England on their goods and Chattells lands and tenements Joyntly or Severally
to be made and levied for the use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors if default be made in ye
the Condition hereunder written &c

                The Condition of this recognizance is such that if the above bounden Alexander Wordie
doe and shall make his personall appearance before his said Lordship's Justices of the County afd the peace to
Keep assigned at dividing Creek the third tuesday of march next and answer unto his said Lordship Concerning
all Such matters and things as shall be then and there Objected against him on his said Lordships behalfe and
do not depart the Court within Lycence thereof and in the mean time to be of the good behaviour towards all
his Lordships Leige people and more especially towards the afd William Stoughton then the above
recognizance to be void and of none Effect otherwise &c

    To the worshopfull his Lordships Justices of somersett County Court now
sitting the petition of Edward Beachamp humbly sheweth
                              That Whereas the bounds of a Certain tract of Land
called long Ridge lying on the north side of Marrumsco Dams seems to be something precarious
your petitioner humbly moves to your worship's to make probatt of the same and as in duty bound
shall pray
                                     The Petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and mature
deliberation thereupon had &.c   Wherefore it is Considered by the Court that a Commission Issue to the
afd Edward Beachamp as by the petition afd is praid   And that David Willson, francis Allen, Wm
Lane and John Waters all of Somersett County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission
according to Law &c

                   Francis Newbold of somersett County planter is appointed Overseer in nanticoke hundred
from Drapers Mill to Morgans road over the head of Nanticoke and to have all the Labourers
about deep Creek to work upon said road &c

Gabriel Cooper appointed Overseer of the roads in Nanticoke hundred in Stead of John
Hooffington and that he ^make good ye Causway^ Clear through the Marsh to the river side where the ferry is keept over
to Vienna &c
