all the Estate of the said Arthur King both reall and Personall and that he give Security to Comply with the gardianship of the afd Arthur according to law &c Whereupon the said Levin Gale together with George Dashiell and Thomas Hayward his securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and be Indebted unto the afd Arthur King in the Sum of three hundred pds Curr.t mony of maryland to be Levied upon their goods and Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of the afd Arthur King his heirs or assigns if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of the above recognizance is such that if the above bounden Levin Gale do and shall in Every respect with the laws and ordered relating to Gardians and when the Said Arthur King shall arrive at full age to receive his Estate deliver up the same peacably and quietly &c then the above Recognizance to be void and of None Effect Otherwise &c
Indian Town the boundarys whereof are like to be lost and the wittnesses to prove them Antient and Infirm Your petitioner therefore therefore humbly prays your worships will Issue a Commission to such persons as you shall think proper to Examine wittnesses to perpetuate the boundarys thereof according to the form of the act of assembly in that Case made &c Daniel The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had &.c Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that a Commission Issue to the afd Daniel King of Pocomoke Indian Town as by the petition afd is praid and that Levin Gale, John Scott, francis Allen and W.m Handy of somersett County Gentlemen be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to Law &c Ordered by the Court that John Jones William Stoughton and John Handy of Somersett County Gent meet at a Certain place and time by them to be appointed for the regulating of the standard for the County afd &c William Jones of Great Manny appointed by the Court pressmaster for Bay side for Ensuing year W.m fasitt Jun.r appointed pressmaster for the sea side for the Ensuing Year &c |
