County afd the bounds whereof are much decayed and the Evidences to prove them Antient and Infirm wherefore your Petitioner prays your worships to grant him a Commission to Perpetuate the bounds of said land according to act of assembly in such Case provided and your petitioner as in duty bound shall pray &c James Caldwell The Petition afd being read and heard and the premisses Considered Wherefore it is ordered by the Court that a Commission Issue to John Handy, James MccMorie, Thomas Humphry's and John Records Sen.r all of Somersett County Gent and that they Execute the same according to Law &c
benefitt to your petitioner wherefore your petitioner doth humbly desire that your worships would be pleased top admitt him to turn the road or nominate any two men that they may appoint where the said Road may be turned without Prejudice to your Petitioner and your petitioner as in duty bound shall every pray The Petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Court that the afd Edward Roberts turn the said road (according to the direction of a Certain Robert Jones and Thomas Laws) as by the Petition afd is praid &c
much to his damage your petitioner desires the favour of your worships to have Leave to remove the same about a hundred yards further out and your petitioner will take ^care to^ Clear a better and neigher road and your petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered that the afd Abraham Lamberson turn the road as by the petition afd is praid so far that the new road be made as good and passable as the old and that it be made and done according to the direction of Wm Lane and Philip Quinton of the County ^afd^ Gent.m and that the old road be keept open till the new one finished and made Good &c Ordered by the Court that Capt John Jones pay unto John Murray out of the fines five pounds ten Shillings Currant mony for Glass for the Court house &c |
