216 return of ye said writt Cometh the said Betty and Levin Gale in their proper persons and the Sher of Somersett to whom the foregoeing writt was directed Comes and makes return thereof to the Court here Endorsed viz.t Cepi Corpus P Jno Purnall sher Whereupon the said Michael Holland being Called appears and thereupon the said Michael Holland at the prayer of the afd Betty and Levin Gale is Committed into ye Custody of the sher of Somersett County thereto remain untill they of their debt and Costs afd should be fully satisfyed Thereupon the said Sher to witt John Purnall Gent Present here in Court took Charge of ye Said Michael Holland accordingly &c Ordered by the Court that John Howston pay unto Archibald Greer the Sum of two hundred and forty four pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance Eight days for the Said John Howston against George Doughlas Exrs of Drummond ^&^ he having made Oath to the Same Ordered by the Court that John Howston pay unto Thomas Baker two hundred and seventy pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance Nine days as an Evidence for the Said John Howston against George Doughlas Exr of Drummonds Exrs &.c he having made Oath to the same Ordered by the Court that George Doughlas pay unto Daniel Welbourn the sum of thirty pounds of tobacco it being due unto him for his attendance one day for the said George Doughlas against John Howston he having made Oath to the same &c Ordered by the Court that Ebenezer and Benj.a Handy pay unto Charles Roach the Sum of Ninty pounds of tobacco it being due unto him for his attendance three days on behalfe of the said Ebenezer and Benj.a Handy against Thomas Hearn he having made Oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that Thomas Hearn pay unto Peter Dolby and John Tatum the Sum of Sixty pounds of tobacco Each being due unto them for their attendance two days Each on behalfe of the Said Thomas Hearn against the Said Ebenezer and Benj.a Handy they having made oath to ye same &c Ordered by the Court that Margt Whaley pay unto John MccClester Jun.r the Sum of Sixty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance two days as Evidence on behalfe of the Said Marg.t Whaley against John Tilman he having made Oath to the Same &c
