makes Return thereof to the Court here Endorsed viz.t   Cepi Corpus   John Purnall sher

                Whereupon the afd Sher to witt John Purnall Gent being Called at the Same day
brings not in the body of the afd John Bishop according to the return of the writt aforesaid &.c

     Command was given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he should ^take^ James
Jones Late of Somersett County planter if he should be found in his bailywick &
him ^should^ safe Keep so that he might have his Body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somersett to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August then Next to satisfie
unto Alexander Draper of five pounds Eighteen shillings and Six pence and two hundred and twenty
Eight pounds of tobacco Which to the Same Alexander in the same Court before the Justices thereof
were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of a Certaine promise and assumption to the
same Alexander by the afd James made and not performed whereof he is Convict &.c

                            Att which said third tuesday of August to witt the Ninteenth day of the same month
ann.o Dom One thousand Seven hundred and Ninteen being the day of the return of the Said Writt
Cometh the afd Alexander Draper by George Dashiell his attorney and the sher of Somersett County
to whom the foregoeing was directed Comes and makes return thereof Endorsed viz.t   Cepi Corpus

          Whereupon the said James Jones being Called appears and thereupon the Said James
Jones at ye Prayer of the afd Alexander Draper by his attorney afd is Committed into the Custody of
the Sher of Somersett County thereto remain till the afd Alexander should of his damages afd be fully
satisfyed    thereupon the said sher to witt John Purnall Gent present here in Court took Charge of
ye Said James Jones accordingly &c

take Michael Holland late of Somersett County Planter al.s dict.s
Michael Holland of this County of Somersett in the province of Maryland
if he should be found in his bailywick and him should safe Keep so
          that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somersett to be
held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of August ^then next^ to Satisfie unto Mad.m Betty Gale and Levin Gale
Executors of the testament and Last Will of Levin Denwood al.s dict.s Leavin Denwood late decd
as well of a Certain debt of One hundred and sixty pounds Curr.t money which ye said Betty and Levin
Gale in the same Court here before the Justices thereof Recovered against him as of four hundred ^and Nine^ pounds
of tobacco which to the Same Betty and Levin were adjudged for their damages sustained by occasion
of ye Detaining of the same Debt as also five hundred and Ninty Seven pounds of tobo addn Costs
whereof he is Convict &c
                                              Att which said third tuesday of August to witt the Ninteenth day of ye
Same month anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty Nine being the day of the
