for his Costs and Charges to the afd Alexander by the Court here of his assent of Increase adjudged
which Certain damages in the whole do amount unto two pounds three shills Currt Mony and Seventeen
hundred and thirty six pounds of tobacco and the afd William in Mercy &c

    Command was given to the Sher of Somrsett County that he should Take
Ebenezer Cooke Late of Somrsett Co.ty Gent if he Should be found in his
Bailywick & him should safe Keep so yt he Might have his Body before ye
Justices of his Lordships Co.ty Court of Somrsett to be held at Dividing Creek
       the third tuesday of August then Next to answer unto John Browne of a plea of
       trespass upon the Case &c & that thereof he should not fail &c

    And the said John Brown Complained against the afd Ebenezer in the plea afd as follows vizt

        Mr Ebenezer Cooke   You are Indebted unto me by your Note from Under hands four hundred
       pounds of Tob.o and Except you appear at Next Court to be held at Dividing Creek in Somersett
       County the third tuesday of August Next I Expect to obtain an attachm.t against
       your Effects if any to be found in the County afd

A Copy of the foregoeing short note was made and Sent to be Left at the Last Place of abode of
the said Ebenezer &c
                                                 Att which said third tuesday of August to witt ye fifteenth day of
the same Month Ann.o Dom one thousand seven hundred & twenty seven being the day of
the return of ye said Writt Comes the said Jn.o Browne in his own proper person and the
Sher of Somrsett Co.ty to whome the foregoing writt was Directed Likewise Cometh and
Maketh return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words following vizt
                                                 Non Est Inventus short note Left P Francis Allen Sher
Whereupon the said Jno Browne Prayes that forasmuch as he has Complyed with
the Law in order to an attachm.t he may have Judgm.t against the said Ebenezer
Cooke for his Dam.s afd by way of attachm.t according to act of assembly &c
    Whereupon for y.t it Seems to the Court here that the said Jn.o Browne has
Complyed with the Laws as alledged
                                                          Therefore it is Considered by the Justices
here the fifteenth day of August Ann.o Dom one thousand Seven hundred & twenty seven
afd that the said Jn.o Browne Recover against ye said Ebenezer Cooke as well ye Sum of
four hundred pds of Tob.o his Dam.s by Occasion of ye premisses afd as all Costs and
96   Charges by ye said Plft Laid out & Expended about his Suite by way of attachm.t ag.t
the goods Chattles Rights or Creditts of the said Ebenezer Cooke according to act of
assembly in Such Case made and Provided &c

was attached to answer unto William Lingoe of a plea of trespass
upon the Case &c
             And Whereupon the same William P.r George Dashiell his attorney Complaines
       that the same Patrick the second day of March Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred
       and twenty five at Stepny Parish afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court with force
