     This being an action of Debt for two thousand pounds of tobacco wherein
the Sher of Somersett County to whom the writt in the same action was
directed Comes and makes Return thereof Endorsed viz.t Cepi Corpus P
                                                                                                             John Purnall sher
                Whereupon the Said John Rogers being Called appears and thereupon the said John
Rogers at the prayer of the said Thomas Fletcher by his attorney afd who ^as well^ for his said Lordship
as for himselfe in this behalfe prosecutes is adjudged to give speciall bail to the action
afd         thereupon a Certain John Donelson of Somersett County Gentleman present
here in Court undertakes for the said John Rogers that if in Case the said Thomas fletcher who
as well for his said Lordship as for himselfe in this behalfe prosecutes shall Recover Judgm.t
in the plea afd against the afd John Rogers or that the said John Rogers shall be therein
Convict that then he the Said John Rogers shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon
or render his body to the Custody of the Sher of Somersett County in Satisfaction
thereof or that he the said John Donelson will do it for him thereupon the said John
Donelson by francis allen his attorney appears and Imparles till next Court &c

     This being an action of trespass upon the Case &c  Wherein the Sherr of
Somersett County to whom the writt in the Same action was directed Comes and makes
Return thereof Endorsed vizt Cepi Corpus P John Purnall sher

             Whereupon the said Pearce Dannt being Called appears and thereupon the said Pearce
Dant at the prayer of the afd John Hendry by Levin Gale his attorney is adjudged to give speciall
bail to the action afd thereupon a Certain Thomas Collins and Jos Gray of Somersett County planters
present here in Court undertakes for the said Pearce Dannt that if in Case the afd John Hendry
Shall recover Judgm.t in the plea afd against the afd Pearce Dant or that the said Pearce Dant
Shall beRecover Judgmt therein Convict that he then said Pearce Dant shall pay the Condemnation
of the Court thereupon or render his body to the Custody of the sher of Somersett County in
Satisfaction thereof or that they the said Thomas Collins and Jos Gray will do it for him &c
thereupon ye said Pearce Dannt by fran Allen his attorney appears and Imparles &c
