1729 184 John Parker then and there present herein Court aforesaid prays that he may be admitted at fine with his said Lordship by Occasion afd and thereof he putts himselfe in mercy of his said Lordship and the fine of the same John Parker by the Justices afd is assessed to ten pounds of tobacco to the use of the said Lord Proprietary &.c thereupon the afd John Parker is discharged from his recognizance & Information afd he paying the fine afd and all the officers their fees due by means of the premisses afd &c
County in Stepney parish Merch.t on the fifth day of may one thousand seven hundred and twenty Nine with force and Armes at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain David Robinson in the peace of God and Our said Lord Proprietary then and there being an assault he did make and him beat wounded and evilly treated so that of his life it as despaired and other harmes to him then and there did do to the Great Damage of the Said David Robinson did do and against the peace of the said Lord Proprietary his good rule and Government wherefore the said George Dashiell for Our Said Lord Proprietary prays advisement of the Court herein the premisses and that due prosess of Law may Issue G Dashiell P Lord proprietary Thereupon Command was Given to the sher of Somersett County that he should take the said Aaron Linn if &.c to answer &c and afterwards here in Court in his proper persons Came the afd Aaron Linn and the afd Information being unto him read submitts with a protestation of his innocency and because he will not plead with his Said Lordship he putts himselfe upon the favour of the Court &c ` Wherefore it is Considered by the Court that the afd Aaron Linn be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of his fine by Occasion of the trespass and assault afd which which same Aaron Linn then & there present in Court afd prays himselfe to be admitted at fine with his said Lordship by Occasion afd and thereof he putts himselfe in mercy of his said Lordship and the fine of the same Aaron Linn by the Justices afd is assessed to three hundred pounds of tobacco to the Use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary &c Thereupon the afd Aaron Linn is discharged from the Information afd and recognizance he paying ye fine afd and the Severall Officers their fees due by means of the premisses afd &c
this province that now is and gives the Court to understand and be informed that a Certain Tho.s Peal Late of Coventry Parish in somersett County planter on the Ninth day of May One thousand Seven hundred and Twenty Nine with force and Armes &c at the parish aforesaid in the County aforesaid within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain Francis Mercer in the peace of God and Our said Lord Proprietary then and there being an assault did make and |
