       Said Master for the afd four pounds Eight Shillings paid for pursuing apprehending tak and Imprisonment
fees one hundred and fifty days    which said Service of three hundred and Sixty days and one
hundred and fifty days amounts to in the whole to five hundred and ten day

             Which said Service is to Commence at the Expiration of his already Servitude and Likewise
the afd five hundred and ten days is adjudged by the Court as full Satisfaction for the runaway
time afd and the afd four pounds Eight Shillings paid as afd &.c

    Ordered by the Court that the afd George Banes take into his Care and Custody a Certain Joseph Chapman
now Lying in a distracted Condition untill the next Court and he shall be allowed for the
same &c

    Ordered by the Court that Jones Records be Overseer of the Roads in Baltemore hundred from the
head of the Indian Town Branch over a beaver Dam into the road to George Howards Plantation and
from Ceaver Goddins up the river to the head of Peppers Creek &c

    The Jurors for the body of Somersett County that now is upon their oath do
present Eliz.a Downs Spinster Late of Somersett parish in the afd County for bearing
of a bastard Child on and about the Last day of January One thousand Seven hundred
and Twenty Eight                                          George Scott foreman

             Thereupon Command was Given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he should take the said
Eliz.a Downs if &.c to answer &.c and afterwards herein the Same Court Came the Said Elizabeth Downs
in her Own proper person and being by the Sher Sett to the bar and thereupon the said Eliz.a Downs
prays hearing of the Presentment aforesaid and it is Read unto her and thereupon the said Eliza Downs
says that of the premisses afd she is Guilty thereof and makes Oath that a Certain George Horner is the begetter
of the Child she Stands presented for
                                                      Therefore it is Considered by the Court that the afd Eliz.a Downs be taken
to Satisfie his Lordship the Lord proprietary of the fine by Occasion of the premisses afd which same
Eliz.a Downs then and there present in Court aforesaid prays that she may be admitted at fine with his said
Lordship by occasion afd and thereupon putts herselfe in mercy of his said Lordship and the fine of the same
Eliz.a Downs by the Justices afd is assessed to fi thirty shillings to the use of defraying the County Charge &c
thereupon it is Considered by the Court the afd Eliz.a Downs give Security for the payment of the fine afd
and all the Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon a Certain Hugh Porter of
the County afd Planter present here in Court undertakes for the afd Eliz.a Downs for to pay the severall
Officers their fees due by means of the premisses afd &c

     To the worshipfull his Lordships Justices of Somersett County Court now
in Court sitting the humble Petition of Mary Hopkins sheweth that your

Petitioner is unjustly detained as a servant by John Johnson having serv'd
          already near Sixteen months Longer then her time being sold by a Certain John Johnson
Tyler whose son Thomas begatt a Child by her and refuses to allow her any thing of assistance
towards maintaining the Same   Your Petitioner humbly prays your worship will Cause the
said parties to appear before you that upon a full hearing of the matter your worships may afford
her such reliefe as in your wisdome you shall see fitt and as in duty bound shall ever pray
