182 mete for such a servant to have and wear during her Servitude afd &c Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that the afd Mary Milbourn give Security for to Comply with the Covenants aforesaid Thereupon the aforesaid Mary Milbourn with Thomas Milbourn her Security both present here in Court in their proper person acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto ye said Elizey Cook in twenty pound Sterling good and Lawfull money of Great brittain of their goods and Chattells Lands or tenements Joyntly and Severally to be made and Levied for the Use of the afd Eliz.a Cook her heirs or assigns if default be made in the Condition hereunder written &c The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above Bounden Mary Milbourn do well and truely Learn the abovesaid Eliz.a Cook during her Servitude to Read Knitt sew and Spin and Other houswifery and at the Expiration of her Servitude to give her a new suit of Cloaths and also find and provide for her said Servant Sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for Such a Servant to have and wear during her Servitude aforesaid then the above Obligation to be void Otherwise to remain in full force and Vertue in Law &c
Possessed with a percell of Land lying in Rockawaking being part of two tracts of Land belonging to Adam Heatch the One Called Come by Chance the Other High Suffolk the bounds whereof is goeing to decay therefore your Petitioner humbly prays your worships to appoint Commissioners to Examine evidences in relation to Such bounds according to an act of assembly of this province in such Case made and provided and your petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray francis Lanckake The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that a Commission Issue to the afd francis Lanckake as by the petition aforesaid is prayd and that John Caldwell, John Handy George Dashiell and Isaac Handy all of Somersett County Gentlemen be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided whereupon the afd John Caldwell, John Handy, George Dashiell and Isaac Handy all present herein Court were Sworne to Execute the said Commission according to the afd Act of assembly &c Upon the Mocon of Abraham Lamberson to this Court for the having of his Son ^Elias Lamberson^ to be tax free he being Lame &c Wherefore it is Considered that the afd Elias Lamberson be for the future tax free as by the mocon afd is praid &c Francis Allen of Somersett County Gent Comes here into Court and prays that he may be admitted to take the Severall Oaths to the Government as deputy Collecter of Pocomoke district under George Plater Esq.r thereupon the Said Francis Allen is admitted and takes the Severall Oaths appointed to the Government and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test &c |
