       Ga^u^rdian to
Benj.a Chapman

            Bejamin Chapman son of Silas Chapman dec.d being
arrived at full age for the Choseing his Guardian Comes into Court and prays
                      that he may be admitted to Chose Samuel Gillett his Guardian which is Granted
&c    Thereupon all the Estate of the said Benjamin Chapman both reall and Personally is Committed
into ye Custody of the afd Samuel Gillett ^he^ Giving good Security to Comply with the Law in Such
made and Provided &.c
                                        Thereupon the afd Samuel Gillett with John Dennis Jun.r and William
Booth his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons and acknowledged themselves
to Owe to his Lordship the right honrble the Lord Proprietary of the province of Maryland in the
sum of fifty pounds Sterling good and lawfull money of England of their goods and Chattells Lands
and tenements Joyntly and Severally to be made and Levied for the Use of the afd Benjamin
Chapman his heirs and assignes if default be made in the Condition hereunto written

          The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above Bounden Samuel Gillett
do well and truely Comply with the Laws in every Respect in relation to Gaurdian and Likewise
deliver up unto the afd Benjamin Chapman all his estate that he shall have in his hands both
real and personall when he shall arrive at full age to Chose the Same quietly and Peaceably
Then the above Recognizance to void and of none Effect otherwise to remain in full force & vertue &.a

                                                          The Petition of John Purnall
Jun.r      humbly sheweth
                                            That in Pursuance of an act of assembly
       for appointing Commissioners to Examine Evidences in relation to the bounds of Land &.c
do humbly pray your worships would be pleased to appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences in
Relation to ye bounds of Land a Certain tract of Land now in your petitioners tenure and possession
Called fairfeild Containeing Eight hundred acres and as in duty bound your Petitioner shall ever

                   The Petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation
thereupon had &.c
                                 Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that a Commission Issue to the
afd John Purnall Jun.r as by the Petition afd is praid and that Edward Rownd James Rownd
John Donnelson and James Martin of Somersett County Gent be Commissions and Execute
the Same Commission according to Law &c

    Elizabeth Cook daughter of Robert Cook Late of Somersett County
dec.d is bound by the Court of her Own Consent unto Mary Milbourn untill
She arrives to the age of Sixteen Years She being ten Years of age the first
day of September next the said Mary Milbourn to learn the said Elizabeth Cook to knitt Sew & Spin
during her Servitude and to read and at the Expiration thereof to give her a new Suit of
Cloaths and Likewise find and provide for her said servant meat drink washing and Lodging
