17 Ordered by the Court that ^Capt^ John Jones pay out of the fines unto Edwd Cluffe the sum of two pounds four shillings and six Pence Curr.t money it being due unto him for Smiths work for the use of Somersett County &c Upon the Petition of Richard Holland, John Purnall and Isaac Marshall to have road Cleared from the Bottom of Synapuckson Neck, to Synapuckson Mill, upon the petition being read and heard and the premises Considered it is therefore ordered by the Court that a road be Cleared from the Bottom of Synapuckson Neck to Synapuckson Mill as afd is praid and that William Waltom be overseer of the same &c
Allen of Somersett County Gent to serve him the said Francis Allen his heirs and assignes in all ^such^ Lawfull Service as his Said Master Shall Imploy him in or about from the day of the date of these presents untill the twenty fifth day of December anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred and twenty Nine In consideration of which Service ^by^ the afd Joseph Rogers to be done and Performed the Said Francis Allen undertakes to pay for the said Joseph rogers a debt and Costs due from him unto Peter Fitzgerrell as also a debt and Costs due to Mr Alexander Wordie and Likewise remitts a debt due from the said Servant to the afd Master and further it is Covenanted and agreed upon by and Between the afd Master and Servant that the afd Master is to find and provide for his said Servant during his servitude the Ball meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Mete for such a servant to have and wear &c Ordered by the Court that John Windsor & Overseer of Road in Stead of James Bowcher &.c Ordered that Robert Collier Clear a road from the Bridge at the head of Tipquin to Colloways tree &c
bounds whereof are rendered Precarious and the wittnesses to prove them Ancient and Infirm wherefore your Petitioner prays your worships to grant a Commission and appoint Commissioners to Examined Evidences according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided and your petitioner as in duty bound shall Ever pray W.m Fasitt the |
