the tree ye first Bounder of Partners Choice or Whites Land as he Suposed & did COnclude it to
as to the Scituation Ground & Distance from ye afd Landing & that it was an old Marked
tree then on four sides

          The Second Evidence Examined was Donock Dennis Sen.r in relation to ye Bounds of
Partners Choice afd who being sworn on ye Holy Evangelist says that about twenty five years
past he riding in Company with Coll Jenckins afd formerly Surveyer of Somrsett Co.ty & as they
rod on ye Co.ty road between Nassiongo Bridge & ye Head of Pocomoke river at a place on old
Indian feild Called Aquisitico old feild he ye Said Coll Jenckins Asked him ye s.d Donock Dennis
that if he Knew where ye Whites Land Lay Donock Dennis answered us well says ye afd
Coll Jenckins if I do not Mistake One Corner of ye Whites Land is a Small Distance now
from us Down there pointing to ye right Hand of ye Co.ty road towards Snow hill & not far
from ye Side of ye afd Old field Called Aquintico old field but Say's ye afd Coll Jenckins
when we gett a Little further a long ye road I can Tell Exactly wheather I have told you
right or not for say's he I surveyed  yt Land of Whites or partners Choice then ye S.d Donock
Dennis further Declared yt as they rode on ye Co.ty road about a quarter a famile or perhaps
Somthing More or Less ye afd Coll Jenckins said againe to ye Said Donock Now say's he I Know
I have told you right in what I told you before for said he ye Said Jenckins hereabouts
One of ye Lines of Whites Land Crosses the road And further ye said Donock declares
that as they the said Jenckins & he rode out on ye road afd as they Came to a place Called Matchacoopers
or Machacoopers old field now Called ye Said Jenckins told the said Donock yt there at
that Place another of Whites Lines Crossed the Co.ty road they then ware in & that ye Cheife
& Main Body of ye Whites Land or partners Choice Lay Between the County road afd
& the river he also further understood by Coll Jenckins yt ye first & Last places places
Shewed him was the South west & Northeast Bounders of ye afd Land Called partners
Choice &a

             The first Evidence Examined in relation to ye Bounds of Duram house Land was
Cap.t Nath.l Hopkins being Sworne on ye Holy Evangelist say's yt about twenty two years
Agoe Mathew Scarbrough who Possessed part of ye Land Called Duram house Shewed
him a small gum tree Marked on four sides & told him yt Gum tree was ye North Bounder
of Duram House Land & y.t there was a line of Marked trees from thence to Selby's
Bay which Gum tree afd ye Said Hopkins afd Shewed us ye Subscribers & do here insert
that ye Gum Standeth by a Swampside a Small Distance to ye Northwest of ye
Co.ty road & oppisite to Jn.o Ayers Corn field &a

          The Second Evidence Examined in relation to ye Bounds of Duram House land was
Jn.o Bishop Sen.r being Sworn on ye Holy Evangelist Declares as Followeth Who Carried
us to a large Popler tree near unto which formerly Stood a Large Cedar tree which Cedar
hath Been Cutt Down & ye Stump hereof almost Destroyed by fier to which place
he Declared that his father Jn.o Bishop dec.d told him ye Line of Duram House
Land went Close by that Cedar tree when Standing & ye Said Jn.o Bishop further
Declared on his Oath afd that Tho.s Selby ye first Taker up of ye tract of Land
                                                                                                    (Called)
