County Weaver with William Cottman of ye same place Planter his Security And acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the Lord proprietary of this Province in the Sum of fifty pounds Sterr of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Seperately to be Levied for ye use of the said Lord Prop.r his heirs & Successors if Default be made in the Condition thereunto Annexed The Condition of which Recognizance is Such that if the above Bounden John Fellows shall well and truly make his personall appearance before his Lordships Justices of the peace for Somersett County at a Court to be held at Dividing Creek ye s.d County the third tuesday of June Next Ensuing the date hereof then & there to answer his said Lordship Concerning Such Matters and things as shall be then & there objected ag.t him on his said Lordships behalfe and do Stand and abide Judgm.t of the Court thereupon & do not Depart the Court without Leave thereof then this Recogn to be void &c Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the twentieth day of the same Month Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred & twenty Seven Came ye s.d Jno Fellows here into Court and prays that his appearance may be Recorded to save himselfe & Security from the above Recognizance of Bail &c and for as much as noe person appeared to prosecute on behalfe of ye Lord proprietary afd Thereupon ye afd John Fellows appearance is Recorded and he and his Security Accordingly Discharged &c Martin Fenton appear according to his Recognizance Entered into to give Evidence against Margrett Lindow and was discharged therefrom &c Charles Ballard appears according to his Recognizance entered into to give evidence against Margtt Lindow and was accordingly discharged therefrom &c Richard Plunkett appears according to his recognizance entered into to give Evidence against Peter Fitzgerrell and is accordingly discharged therefrom &c Benjamin Lebrace appears according to his Recognizance entered into too give evidence on behalfe of ye Lord proprietary against Danll Burgin and is discharged therefrom &c The Court adjourns untill the third tuesday of August anno Dom 1727 |
