the said Levin Powell both Reall and personall and that the afd James Howston give good Security to Comply
with ^the^ Law in Relation to gardians &c
                                                               Whereupon the afd James Howston with John Brittingham and Isaac
Wheler his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged them selves to owe and stand
Justly Indebted unto the afd Levin Powell in the Sum of One hundred pounds Currant money good and lawfull
money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements for the use of the afd Levin Powell his
heirs or assigns Seperately to be made and Levied if default be made in the Condition here under written

                            The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bound James
Howston do and shall well and truly Comply with the law in Every Respect in Relation to the gardenship
afd and Likewise quietly and peaceably deliver up unto the afd Levin Powell all his Estate that
he hath in his hands both Reall and Personall when he shall arrive at full age to Receive the same
than the above recognizance to be void and of None Effect otherwise &c

                   To the worshipfull court of somersett County now sitting        Your petitin.r
humbly prays that your worships would be pleased to order and appoint Commissioners
to Examine evidences in relation to the bounds of a tract of land belonging to your petitioner Called     his
(racklifs late discovery) and your petitioner as in duty bound shall Ever pray                         Nicholas + Warren

                         The petition afd being Read and heard and fully understood
                                                                                                             Wherefore it is Considered by
the Justices here that a Commission Issue to the afd Nicholas Warren as by the petition afd is prayd
and that James Rownd, Edward Rownd, Isaiah Bredall and Joseph Gray all of Somersett County Gent.m
be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission according to act of assembly in such Case made and
provided &c


Mary Richards
    Judged for runaway time
     John Turpin of Somersett County Planter brings his Servant
woman Named Mary Rickards into Court and prays that she may be
adjudged to Serve for thirty Six days that she had absented herselfe out of
his service and for trouble and Charge in takeing up when Runaway   Whereupon it is Considered
by the Court here that the afd Mary Rickards serve the afd John Turpin his heirs or assigns Seven days
for every ^one^ day that she absented herselfe out of his servitude which amounts too two hundred and
fifty two days also the afd Mary Rickards is adjudged to Serve her said Master his heirs or assignes
one hundred and twenty days being full Satisfaction for two hundred pounds of tobacco paid on accot
of taking her up when Runaway ^as afd^ &c   the said two hundred and fifty two days and One hundred
and twenty days amounts in the whole to three hundred and Seventy two days when ^which^ is adjudged full
Satisfaction for the runaway time and Charge in taking up as afd which said Servitude is to Commence
at the Expiration of her Servitude already Commenced &c

Ordered by the Court that Adam Spence Jun.r be Overseer and Clear the Road further than his former
Limitts vizt to Clear a road through a Swamp Called Aarons Swamp and that William Brittinghams Labourers
Prior Webbs, Dunnock Dennis Jun.r Geo: Mumford and Widdow Dredons Labourers be added to the said
Adam Spence and that Mr Jno Purnall se the road be Cleared &c
