135 to serve his said Master his heirs or assigns the full term of time afd in such Lawfull service as he shall Imploy him in or about In Consideration of which said Service the said John Holder promiseth to give the said Joseph Conner one Years Schooling when he shall arrive at the age of twelve or fifteen years and a Cow and Calfe at the Expiration of his Servitude and Likewise find and provide for his said Servant Sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing meat for Such a servant to have and wear during the term afd &c
of a tract of Land in the County afd Called the boundarys Whereof are decayed and the wittnesses to prove them same Ancient and Infirm your Petitioner therefore prays that your worships will be pleased to appoint such persons as your worships shall think proper to Examine wittnesses to perpetuate the boundarys thereof according to the form of the act of assembly in Such Case made and provided and your Petitioner as in duty bound shall every pray The Petition afd being Read and heard and Mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that Commission Issue to the afd And.w Thompson as by the Petition afd is praid and that Ephraim Willson, Robert King, Jeffry Long, and Thomas Williams all of Somersett County Gent.m be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case made and Provided &c
Imploy him in or about the full term of time afd Inconsideration of which service the said Isaac Williams undertakes for to Learn the said James Daughety the trade of a Cooper and to read well in the bible during the term of his Servitude afd &.a Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the afd Isaac Williams give Security for to Comply with the Covenants afd Whereupon the afd Isaac Williams with John Turpin his Security both present here in Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the said James Daughety in the Sum of twenty pounds Ster. good and Lawfull mony of England of their goods and Chattells Lands or tenements Seperately to be made and Levied for the use of the said James Daughety if his heirs and assigns if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of the above Recognizance is such that if the above bound Isaac Williams do and shall well and truely Learn the afd James Daughety during his Servitude afd the trade of a Cooper and to read well in the bible and find for his Said Apprentice Sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for such an apprentice to have and wear dureing his Servitude afd then the above recognizance to be void &.c Otherwise &c |
