that the afd William Piper take all the estate of the said Henry Ackworth into his hands both reall and Personall and that Thomas Ackworth and Charles Ackworth who were possest with the Estate of the afd Henry Ackworth deliver ^it^ upon unto the afd Gardian quietly and peaceably And that the Same William Piper Give good security to Comply with the law in Relation to gardians &c Whereupon the afd William Piper with George Dashiell of Somersett County Gentl his security both present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to owe & stand Justly Indebted unto the afd Henry Ackworth in the Sum of One hundred pounds goods and Lawfull mony of England of their goods and Chattells Lands or tenements seperately to be made and Levied for the Use of the afd Henry Ackworth his heirs or assigns if default be made in the Condition here under written The Condition of the above Recognizance is such that if the above bound William Piper do and shall well and truely in every respect comply with the law in relation to the Gardenship afd and deliver upon unto the afd Henry Ackworth quietly and Peaceably when he shall are arrive at full age to receive the Same all his Estate that he hath in his hands both reall and personall &c then the above Recognizance to be void and of none Effect Otherwise to remain in full force & Vertue &c
Imploy him in and about during the term afd In consideration of which Servitude the afd Eliz.a Nicholson promiseth to Learn the afd apprentice during his Servitude the trade of a shoemaker and to read well in the bible and at the Expiration of his Servitude to give him a new suit of Cloaths and Likewise find and provide for her said Servant sufficient meat drink washing Loging and Cloathing mete for such an apprentice to have and were dureing the term afd Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the afd Eliz.a Nicholson give good Security for to Comply with the Covenants afd Whereupon the afd Eliz.a Nicholson with William MccClammey ^and Jno Purnall^ her securitys hath present herein Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the afd John Abbott in the sum of twenty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull mony of England of their goods & Chattells Lands or tenements Seperately to be made and Levied for the Use of the afd John Abbott his heirs or assigns if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above Eliz.a Nicholson do well and truely Learn the afd Jno Abbott during his servitude afd the trade of a shoemaker and to read well in the bible and find & provide for her said apprentice sufficient meat drink washing loging and Cloathing mete for such an apprentice to have & wear during his servitude afd and at the Expiration thereof give him a new suit of Cloaths then the above recognizance to be void otherwise &c |
