       And whereupon the Same Moses by Levin Gale his attry Complaines that
whereas the afd Richard ye tenth day of October Anno Dom one thousand Seven
Hundred & twenty Seven at Somrsett Co.ty within ye Jur of this Co.t was Indebted to ye
afd Moses in the Sum of two pd.s & Six pence Curr.t mony as by acc.t herewithin Court
Produced may appear & so thereof being Indebted the said Richard in Consideration
thereof afterwards to witt ye Same day & year afd at ye Co.ty afd & within ye afd Jur
upon himselfe assumed & to ye Same Moses then & there faithfully Promised yt
he when afterwards he Should be thereto requested he ye afd Sum of two pd.s & six pence
Curr.t mony to the Same Moses he wou'd well & faithfully Content & pay Nevertheless
the Said Richard his Promise & assumption afd in form afd made not regarding
but Plotting & Fraudulently Intending him ye Same Moses in that part Craftilly
& Subtilly to Defraud & Deceive ye afd Richard ye afd Sum of two pds & Six
pence Curr.t Mony or any part thereof to the Same Moses he hath not paid altho'
