1727 12 Isaac Morris and Esther have so much thereof in their hands to be administred on and if so much in their hands they have not then the Costs be Levied of the proper goods of and Chattells of the afd Isaac and Esther and when he had the same so made or any part thereof the same Should safe keep so that he might have the same before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of June then Next and that thereof he should not fail &c Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the twentieth day of the same month Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty seven being the day of the Return of the writt afd Came the afd Betty Gale by Levin Gale her attorney and the sherr of Somersett County to whom the foregoeing Writt was directed ^Likewise^ Comes and makes Return thereof Endorsed with a Schedule to the same writt annexed viz.t A Shedule of the goods and Chattells of William Skirvan taken in Execution in the hands of Isaac Morris and Esther his wife Executrix of the last will and testament of the afd William Skirvan for the use of Mad.m Betty Gale and appraised by us whose Names are hereunto annexed given under our hands and seales this 12th day of aprill anno Dom 1727 To one negro man Named Harry & £35..0..0 W.m Bozman (seal) Jno Bozman (Seal) George Bozman (seal) W.m Storie (Seal) By Virtue of the within writt to me directed I have Levied One negro man named Harry being of ye proper goods and chattells of the within Named William Skirvan dec.d in the hands of Isaac Morris and Esther his wife Exrx of the last will and testament of the said William to be administred which said negro I had appraised and valued according to Law as by a Shedule hereunto annexed appears to thirty five pounds Curr.t mony which negro I have delivered to the within Named Mad.m Betty Gale as by the within writt I am Commanded so answers Francis Allen sher
court of Somersett Recovered against him as four hundred and seventy six pounds of tobacco which to the same William in the Same Court before the Justices thereof were adjudged for his damages which he had by Occasion of the detaineing of that same debt and when he had ye same so made or any part thereof the same safe keep so that he might have the Same before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somersett to be held at dividing Creek the third thuesday of June then next to satisfie the afd William of his debt and damages afd and that thereof he should not fail &c Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the twentieth day of the same month ann.o Dom one thousand Seven hundred and twenty seven being the day of the Return of the said Writt Cometh |
