                         James Parrimore late of Somersett County Bricklayer
was attached to answer unto Adam Muir of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.c
                                     And whereupon the same Adam by Levin Gale his attorney Complains that
whereas the afd James the tenth day of Novemr Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred and twenty seven
at Somersett County within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted to the Same Adam in the Sum of
Nine pounds four Shillings and Six pence Currt Mony as by Acco herewithin Court Produced may
appear and so thereof being Indebted the said James in Consideration thereof afterwards to witt the Same
day and year afd at the County afd and within the afd Jurisdiction upon himselfe assumed and to
the Same Adam then and there faithfully promised that he when afterwards he should be thereto
Requested he the afd Sum of Nine pounds four Shillings and Six pence Currt Mony to the Same Adam
wou'd well and faithfully Content and pay Nevertheless the said James his Promise and assumption
afd in form afd made not Regarding but Plotting and fraudulently Intending him the Same Adam
in that Part Craftilly and Subtilly to defraud and deceive the afd James the afd Sum of Nine pounds
four Shillings and Six pence Currt Mony or any part thereof to the Same Adam he hath not paid or
him for it in any wise Contented altho the Same to do the afd James afterwards vizt the Same
day and Year afd at the County afd and within the afd Jurisdiction by the Same Adam was Requested
but he the Same hitherto to do hath altogether Refused and Still doth Refuse whereby the same
Adam says he is worse and hath Damage to the Value of Twenty Pounds Curr Mony and thereof
