Somersett fs      Att a Court of the Right honrble Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of
                the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.c helt at dividing
Creek in somersett County by his said Lordships Commissioners and Justices of the peace
the third tuesday of August being the twentieth day of the Same month and in the
13.th year of his said Lordships dominion &c Anno Dom 1728

Ordered by the Court that francis Allen of somersett County Gent.m be Overseer
of the Road in Pocomoke hundred from dividing Creek bridge to Nanseongoe Bridge
and that all the Labourers that usually cleard the same Road be deemed Labourers
under the afd Overseer to Clear as afd &c

Ordered by the Court that John Dennis Sen.r be Overseer of the Road from Nanseongoe
Bridge along the main Road to a small branch Just by M.r Morris's plantation in the Indian
Town and to Clear the Same Roads with the Other Roads that he is Overseer of and that all
the Labourers ^in the Indian Town^ be deemed Labourers under the afd Overseer to Clear as afd &c

Merrick Ellis
    Elizabeth Ackman comes ^here^ into Court in her proper person and
binds her son Thomas Ackman unto Merrick Ellis untill he arrives at
the age of twenty One Years he being born the Eighteenth day of January last
the said Thomas Ackman to Serve his Said Master his heirs or assign's the full term of
time afd as he Should Lawfully Imploy him in or about  In consideration of which
Servitude the Said Merrick Ellis doth Covenant and agree to and with the said Eliz.a
Ackman that he will Learn or Cause to be Learn't the said Thomas Ackman during his Servitude
to Read and write and to find and provide for him Sufficient meat drink washing Lodging
and Cloathing mete for Such a Servant to have and wear during his Servitude afd &c

Dick a negro boy of James Strawbridge is adjudged by the Court here to Ten years

Upon the Mocon of M.r John Scott for the Repairing of Dividing Creek bridge it being
very much decayed and like to fall down &.c
                         Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the said John Scott agree with
Some person or persons for the Repairing of the said Bridge that will do it the Cheapest
best and Soonest for the Interest of the County and he to make his Report thereof at Next Co.t &c

Acquinney a negro Girle of Robt Mitchells is adjudged by the Court here to Six Years &c
