the afd Nathaniel Horsey or that the said Nathaniel Horsey shall be therein Convict that then he the
said Nathaniel Horsey shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or Render his Body to the
Custody of the sherr of Somersett County in Satisfaction thereof or that he the said Revel Horsey will
do it for him &c   thereupon the afd Nathaniel Horsey by George Dashiell his attorney appears
and Imparles till Next Court &c

 Memorand.m the plft by Levin Gale his attorney Sued out his Lordships writt of attachm.t against
ye Deft the tenour whereof followeth in these words viz.t

Somersett fs  Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland &
                         avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c  To the Sher of Somrsett Coty  Greeting we
Command you yt you attach any the goods Chattles rights or Creditts of Mary Esome admrx
of all & Singular the goods & Chattles rights & Creditts of Benj.a Esome late of Somrsett
County Planter dec.d if they Shall be found in your Balywick to the Value of twenty p.ds
Curr.t Mony & Eight hundred pd.s of Tob.o & when you have the Same so attached or any
part thereof the Same in your Custody safe Keep so yt you have them before the Justices
of our Co.ty Court to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of June Next then & there
to be Condemned according to act of assembly to & for the use of a Certain Jn.o Esome unless
the Said Mary Esome admrx as afd by herselfe or her attry shall appear and answer
unto the said Jn.o Esome in a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a according to Law & that
by good & Lawfull men of your Balywick you Make Known unto the person or persons
in whose hands you Make the Same attachm.t that he She or they be & appear
before the Justices of our Co.ty Co.t to be held as afd to Shew Cause if any he She or
they have why ye Same goods Chattles rights or Creditts so attached in his her or their
hands Ought not to be Condemned & Execution thereof had & Made according to the form of
the act of assembly in Such Case Made & provided if to him her or them it Shall Seem
Mete & how you Shall Execute this Writt that you Make Known unto our S.d Justices
at the day & Place afd & have you then & there this Writt Wittness Sam.l Hopkins
Gent.m Chief Justice of our S.d Co.t the twenty first day of March in the thirteenth year of
our Dominion &a
                                     Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the Eighteenth day of the same month being
the day of the Return of the Said Writt Ann.o Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty Eight being the day of
the Return of the Said Writt Cometh the said John Esome by his attorney afd and the sherr of Somersett County
to whom the foregoeing writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh Return thereof to the Court here Endorsed
in these words following viz.t  By Vertue of the within writt to me directed I have attached the rights
& Creditts of the within Named Mary Esome admrx of Benj.a Esome dec.d in the hands of Robert
Collier Jn.o Hopkins Henry Dashiell Jn.o Richardson & David Johnson to the Value of twenty
pd.s Curr.t mony & Eight hundred pd.s of tob.o & have Severally Sumoned the s.d pties to be and
appear before the Justices within Named at the ^time and^ Place within Mentioned to shew
Cause &.a if any they Can why &.a Before Joseph MaClester and Joseph Dashiell
