Injury when &c and says that he Cannot gainsay the action afd of the afd John Rogers nor but the writing
Obligatory afd is his act and deed nor Can he say but that he owes the afd John the afd Two thousand pounds
of tobacco in manner and form as the afd John above against him hath declared &c

             Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the Eighteenth day of June anno Dom One thousand
seven hundred and twenty Eight that the afd John Rogers Recover against the afd William Hopkins two
thousand pounds of tobacco his debt afd and his damages by occasion of the detaining of the Same Debt to
255   two hundred and fifty five              pounds of tobacco to the same John by the Court here of his assent
adjudged and the afd Williams in Mercy &c

 This being an action of trespass upon the Case &.c wherein the writt the Same action
was directed ^to ye Sher of Somersett County who^ Comes and makes Return thereof to the Court here Endorsed vizt Cepi Corpus
                                                                                        P Fran: Allen sherr
          Whereupon at the Prayer of the afd Eliz.a Riggin by Levin Gale her attorney the afd Eliz.a Standley
is adjudged to give Speciall Bail to the action afd  whereupon a Certain James Breeman of Somersett County
Merch.t Present herein Court undertakes for the Said Eliz.a Standly that if in Case the afd Eliz.a Riggin
shall Recover Judgmt in the Plea afd against the afd Eliz.a Standley or that the afd Eliz.a Standly
should be therein Convict that then she the Said Eliz.a Standly shall pay the Condemnation of the Court
thereupon or Render her body to the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County in Satisfaction thereof or
that he the said James Breeman will do it for her   thereupon the said Eliza Standly by George Dashiell her
attorney appears and Imparles till next Court &.c

 This being an action of trespass upon the Case &.c  wherein the Sherr of Somersett County

to whom the writt is the Same action was directed Comes and makes Return thereof to
                the Court here Endorsed vizt  Cepi Corpus P Francis Allen sher

          And whereupon the said Mary Price at the prayer of the afd George Cook by his attorney afd is
adjudged to give Speciall Bail to the action afd thereupon a Certain Merrick Ellis of Somersett County Gent
present here in Court in his proper person undertakes for the said Mary Price that if in Case the afd George
Cook shall recover Judgmt in the plea afd against the afd Mary Price or that the said Mary Price shall
be therein Convict that then she the afd Mary Price shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render
his body to the Custody of the sherr of Somersett County in Satisfaction thereof or that he the Said Merrick
Ellis will do it for her
                                        Whereupon the afd Mary Price by George Dashiell her attorney prays that the said
George Cook may give Security for Costs in Case nonsuite be Obtained against him in the plea afd which is by the
Court granted thereupon Levin Gale of Somersett County Gent.m present herein Court undertakes for the said Geo: Cooke
that in Case he be nonsuited in the plea afd or Otherwise Legally Cost that then ^he^ the Said Geo: Cooke shall pay the Condemnation
of the Court and all Costs accrewing thereon unto the said Mary Price or that he ye said Levin Gale
will doe it for him   thereupon ye Said Mary Price by Geo: Dashiell her attorney appears & Imparles till next Court
