and the same day is given to the afd Plft here also

       Att which said Next Court to witt the twentieth day of June Anno Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and twenty Seven Came again as well the afd Joseph MccClester as the afd
Thomas Anderson by their attorneys afd and whereupon the afd Joseph by his said attorney
prays that the afd Thomas to his declaration afd may Answer  But the Same Thomas Says nothing
in bar or preclusion of the action of the afd Joseph by which the same Joseph Remaineth agt the afd
Thomas thereof undefended      Wherefore the afd Joseph his damages by occasion of the Non
performance of the promise and assumption afd against the afd Thomas ought to Recover

       Whereupon at the prayer of the afd Joseph and by the Consent of the same Thomas the Justices
here according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided do assess the damages of the ^sd^ Joseph
by Occasion of the Non performance of the promise and assumption afd besides his Costs and Charges
by him about his Suite in that part Expended to two pounds fifteen shillings and one penny
Curr.t mony
                                  Therefore it is Considered by the Court here the twentieth day of June &
Year afd that the afd Joseph MccClester Recover against the afd Thomas Anderson two pounds
fifteen Shillings and One penny Curr.t mony his damages afd by the Justices afd in form afd
268   assessed as also Two hundred and Sixty Eight                                     pounds of tobacco
for his Costs and Charges by him about his Suite in that part Expended to the same Joseph by the
Court here of his assent adjudged and ye afd Deft in Mercy &c

County Planter was sumoned to answer unto Martha Woollford
of a plea that he render unto her one Mare of the price of ten pounds
       Sterling which from her he unjustly detains &c

             And whereupon the same Martha by Roger Woollford ^Exrx^ her next friend who is
       admitted by the Court here to prosecute for her She being under ye age of twenty one Years
       Complaines that whereas the Same Martha the tenth day of Novemr Anno Dom one thousand
       Seven hundred and twenty Six at Somersett County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court
       was Possessed of one Mare of the price of ten pounds Sterr as her proper Mare and
       so thereof being Posesed Possessed afterwards to witt the same day and Year afd at ye Co.ty afd the
       Same Mare out of her hands and Possession Causually Lost w.ch said Mare afterwards that
       is to Say the Same day and Year afd at the County afd within the afd Jurisdiction ^to^ of
       the hands and Possession of the afd Lazarus by finding Came & in ye Possession
