99 Ambross Riggin Jun.r appears according to his recognizance for the good behaviour and is discharged therefrom Eli Joyce appears according to her Recognizance to give Evidence against Andrew Thompson and is discharged Esther Jenckins appears according to her Recognizance to give Evidence against Richard Pelavery and is discharged W.m Calvert appears and discharged from recognizance to give Evidence agt Thomas Travers &c Ordered by the Court that Jno Langston be discharged from Recognizance to give Evidence against Jos: Harrison
Thereupon Command is given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he Should take the said Eliz.a Anderson if &.c to answer &.c and afterwards in the Same Court Came the Said Eliz.a Anderson and being by the Sherr Sett to the Barr is thereupon Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the premisses afd says that of the premisses afd she is guilty thereof and thereof puts herselfe in mercy of the and makes oath that a Certain Jam Oneal is the begetter of the Child she stands presented for^ and is willing to pay thirty Shillings for her fine afd Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the Said Eliza Anderson be fined to his Lordship the Lord proprietary toward ye defraying of the County Charge thirty Shillings Curr.t money and is Ordered to give Security for the payment of all the Officers Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon Joseph MccClester of Somersett County Gent became Security for the Said Eliz.a Anderson for the paym.t of the Severall Officers their fees due by occasion of the premisses afd &c
Thereupon Command is given to the Sherr of Somersett County that He Should take the afd Wm Oneall if &c to answer &c afterwards in the Same Court Came the Said William Oneal and being Sett to the Barr is thereupon Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of ye premisses afd Says that of the premisses afd he is guilty thereof and puts himselfe in mercy of the Lord proprietary and is willing to pay his fine for the fact &c Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the Said William Oneal be fined to his Lordship thirty Shillings for the fact afd to be appropriated toward the defraying of the County Charge and is Ordered to give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers their Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon Joseph MaClester present to undertook to pay the Severall Officers their Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd &c Upon the Pet.n of Solomon Taylor to be discharged from his recognizance the pet.n granted and he accordingly discharged therefrom &c |
