wherefore it is Considered by the Court that the said Isabel Eaton be whiped with fifteen Lashes at the
publick whiping post on the bare back well Laid on untill the blood appear & that she be taken &c
and thereupon as to the Corporall Punishm.t afd Command is given to the Sherr of Somersett County
that he do thereof Immediate Execution by whiping the afd Isabell Eaton at the publick whiping
post with fifteen Lashes on the bear Back well Laid on untill the blood appear and afterwards
in the Same Court the Sherr Returns that he hath done the Execution of the Judgm.t afd as to the Corporall
Punishm.t afd he was Commanded   thereupon the Said Isabel Eaton is discharged She giveing Security for
Fees &c thereupon Abraham Cordery and Daniel Cordery and Daniel Cordery both of Somersett County Gent Present here
in Court undertakes for the Said Isabell Eaton to pay the Severall Officers their fees due by occasion
of the Premisses afd &c

We of the Grand Jury on our Oaths Do present Elizabeth Downes Spinstress Late of
the parrish of Stepney for Bearing a Malato Bastird Child sometime about the
Last of September
Abraham Cordery Informer                                                Edward Rownd foreman

Thereupon Command was given to y.e sherr of Somersett County that he Should take the Said
Elizabeth Downes of Stepney parrish if &c to answer &c and afterwards in the same Court Came
the said Elizabeth Downes in Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County and being by the said Sherr
Sett to the barr is thereupon Justly Demanded how she would Acquitt herselfe of the Premises afd
Says that of the Premises afd She is Guilty thereof and for as much as there is Seven Years Service
due to Somersett County by means of Such y.e premisses afd thereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the
Said Elizabeth Downes return home to her Mistresses Service and that Sarah Dashiell her Mistress deliver
her up to the Sherr of the County afd or the County Court At the Expiration of her Servitude afd &.c to receive
what the same Court shall Consider of &c

We of the grand Jury on Our Oath do present Elizabeth Reed Spinster Late of allhollows
Parish for Bearing of a bastard Child Some time about the Last of July

Thereupon Command was given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he Should take the Said Eliza
Reed if &c to answer &c and afterwards in the Same Court Came the Said Eliz.a Reed in Custody of the
Sherr of Somersett County and being by the Said Sherr Putt to the Barr is thereupon Instantly demanded
how she would acquitt herselfe of the premisses afd Says that of the premisses afd She is Guilty ^thereof^
and puts herself in mercy of the Lord Proprietary and is willing to pay her fine for the fact afd

       Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the Said Eliza Reed be fined to his Lordship
the Lord Proprietary the Sum of Six hundred pounds of tob.o toward the defraying of the County Charges

       thereupon the Said Elizabeth Reed is Ordered to give Security for the fine afd and all other Officers their
fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon Jno Dennis Jun.r present in Court undertakes
for the said Eliza Reed for the paym.t of y.e fine and all fees afd &c
