John Hitch appointed Constable for the Ensueing Year in Stead of Abraham Cordery for Wickacomoco
hundred &c
                                        James Weatherley appointed Constable of Nanticoke hundred for
the Ensueing Year in Stead of Roger Nicholson Jun.r

Levin Gale of Somersett County Gent is appointed Clerk of the Peace and Indictmts
of his Lordships County Court of Somersett tooke the Oaths appointed by act of assembly to the
Government and Likewise on Oath appointed by the Statute made in King Williams time
to be taken in Such Case &c

Thomas Puckett appointed Overseer of the Road in Manocan hundred from the head of
Thomas Breretons Savannough to Jn.o Kings Bridge &c

William Green appears according to his Recognizance Entered into before Capt John
Scott of Somersett County Gent for his appearance this Court is thereupon discharged giveing
security for paym.t of fees &c    Thereupon Jn.o Fleming untook to pay the Severall Officers their fees
due by occasion of the premisses afd &c


Will.m Powell Chose
W.m Holland as Guardian
William Powell Son of William Powell decd being arrived at full
age for the Choseing his Guardian &c Comes into Court and prays that he may
                                  have the Liberty to Chose a Certain William Holland of Somersett County Gent as
       his Guardian Which is Granted &c    Thereupon the said William Powell makes Chose of the
       Said William Holland as his Guardian &c    Whereupon the said William Holland Present here
       in Court is ordered to give Recognizance with two securitys in one hundred pounds Curr.t money to
       be Levied on their Bodys goods and Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use o the said Willm Powell
       &c    Thereupon the Said William Holland together with James Hall and William
       Mills his Security's all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
       to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto Joyntly and Severally unto the Said William
       Powell in the Sum of One hundred pounds Curr.t money to be Levied on their Bodys Goods or
       Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use of the Said William Powell   In Case the Said Will.m
       Holland doth not in Every Respect Comply with the Law in Relation to Guardiants and deliver
       up unto the Said William Powell all  his Estate that he hath in his hands Both Reall
       and Personall when he Shall attaine to full age &c
