here in Court undertakes for the Said William Pepper that in Case the said Mary Martin Exrx as afd
shall Recover Judgm.t in the plea afd against the Said William Pepper or that the said William
Pepper should be therein Convict that then he the said William Pepper shall pay the Condemnation
of the Court thereupon or Render his body to the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County in Satisfaction
thereof or that he the Said Somersett Dickenson will do it for him

       And the Said William Pepper in his Own proper Person Comes and defends the force and Injury
when &c and says that he Cannot gainsay the plft her action afd against him brought nor Can he
say but that the wrighting Obligatory afd is his act and deed & that the debt therein Mentioned is yett
due and unsatisfyed wherefore the said plft prays Judgm.t for her debt afd & her Costs and damages
sustained by Occasion of the detaining of the Same debt to her to be adjudged &c

                   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here the Seventeenth day of august anno Dom one
thousand Seven hundred & twenty five that the afd Mary Martin Exrx as afd Recover against the afd
William Pepper as well the Sum of thir fifteen hundred and Ninteen pounds of tobacco her Debt afd
275   as also the sum of Two hundred and seventy five            pounds of tobacco for her Costs and
damages sustained by Occasion of the detaining of the same debt to the same Mary Martin of her
assent by the Court here adjudged & the afd Deft in Mercy &c

 Command was given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he Should Take
Michael Holland of Somersett County Marriner al.s dict Michael Holland
of annamessex in the County of Somersett Marriner if he Should be found in his
                   bayliwick and him should Safe Keep so that he might have his Body Before the Justices
of his Lordship's County Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of august
then Next to answer unto Mary Martin of Executrix of of the Last will and testament of Robert
Martin dec.d of a plea that he Render unto her thirty two pounds Curr.t silver Money which from her
he unjustly detains &c and that thereof he should not fail &c

       And whereupon the same Mary by Levin Gale her attorney Complaines that Whereas the afd Michael
the third day of august ann.o Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty three at Somersett County
afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his Certain Writing Obligatory Granted himselfe to be held
and firmly bound unto the afd Robert Martin in his Lifetime in the sum of thirty two pounds Currt
silver money of this province to be paid unto the Said Robert Martin his heirs Executors adm.rs or
assignes when afterwards he the Said Michael Should be thereunto Required Nevertheless the said
Michaell altho' often thereunto Required the afd sum of thirty two pounds of Curr.t money
