here the seventeenth day of august ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred and Twenty five afd that the
afd Jeffr'y Flower Recover against the afd Thomas Billin his damages afd as by the Inquisition afd
appears to Twenty three pounds Nine Shilling's and ten pence Curr.t money of Maryland & one pound
795   of tobacco as also the sum of Seven hundred & Ninty Five                                       pounds of
(795) Tobacco for his Costs and Charges afd to the afd Jeffr'y by the Court here of his assent of Increase adjudged and
the afd defend.t in Mercy &c

You Jonathan Jackson William Richardson and Either of you
do undertake for the Said William Timmons defend.t in the Sum of One thousand and twenty
four pounds of Tobacco to be Levied on Your and Either of your Lands and Tenements
goods and Chattells to ye use of ye said Tho.s Dashiell the Plantiff upon Condition that if
the said Thomas Dashiell doe obtain Judgmt in an action of Debt Depending in Somersett
County Court against the S.d William Timmons the Defend.t that than the Said William
Timmons shall pay y.e Condemnation of the Court thereupon or Deliver himself to The
Custody of ye sheriff of Somersett County In satisfaction thereof or you or one of you will do it
for him They acknowledg themselves to be Content Therewith ye day & year above before

Merick Ellis of Somersett County Gent was Summoned to answer unto John
Jordan of a plea that he Render unto him the Sum of Forty five pounds Curr.t
    money of maryland which to him he Oweth and from him he unjustly detaineth &c

             And whereupon the Same John by Levin Gale his attorney saith that Whereas the afd Merick
    the sixteenth day of aprill ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three at Somersett
    County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his Certain Writting Obligatory granted himself
    to be held and firmly Bound unto the same John in forty five pounds Curr.t mony of maryland
    to be paid to the Same John when afterwards he should be thereto required Nevertheless the
    afd Merick tho' often thereto Required the afd sum of forty five pounds Curr.t mony as afd 
    or any part thereof to the Same John he hath not Rendered but the Same Merick the Same hitherto
