1725 50 themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the Right honrble the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors in the Sum of fifteen pounds Sterr Each for Each of the Said Caldwells to be Levied on ^their^ the Bodys goods and Chattells Lands or tenements ^Joyntly & severally^ for the use of the Said Lord Proprietary in Case the Said John Caldwell Jun.r and Thomas Caldwell are not of the good behaviour toward all his Lordships Leige People and more Especially toward the afd Indians Called King Toby Lolloway and whist &c thereupon they are discharged giveing security for fees that accrewed by in cause of the premises afd Whereupon the afd Jno Caldwell Jun.r undertakes for himselfe and the Said Thomas Caldwell to pay all the Officers fees due by Occasion of the premises afd &c
Spinster and Other Malefactors and disturbers of the Peace of Our Said Lord proprietary whose Names to the Jurors afd are wholy unknown the twenty third day of aprill seventeen hundred and twenty five ^at^ Coventry parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court with force and arms viz.t swords staves hands fists &c into one Messuage and tract of Land with the appurtenances Called Unity in Coventry parish afd then being the free tenement of a Certain John Fleming upon the peaceble Possession of him the Said John did Enter and then and there the afd John with force and arms from his possession afd did Eject Expell and amove and him the Said John so Expelled from the messuage and Land afd with the appurtenances unlawfully and with a Strong hand then and there did hold out and still do hold Out against the peace of the Right honrble the Lord proprietary his good rule and governm.t and also against the form of the Statute in Such Case made and provided Test John Fleming, Will.m Shockley Levin Gale Clk Indts On the Back side of the foregoeing Bill of Indictmt It was thus Endorsed vizt billa vera John Scarbrough Foreman Thereupon Command was given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he Should take the Said Robert Harris and Abigail his wife Abigail Keeble and Ann Vannce if they Should be found in his Bailywick and them Should Safe Keep so that he might have ^their^ his Body Before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek ye third tuesday of August (then) |
