49 August the Nineteenth day ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and Twenty four then Came into Court Certain Indians belonging to the Indian Town on Pocomoke and did them and there make Complaint before the Worshipfull Sam.l Hopkins Gent and his associats Justices of the Same Court Judicially Sitting that Severall of the Inhabitants Living in and Near the said Town that had horses and Mares did trespass upon them the said Indians by breaking into their COrn feilds and Eating the same &c Thereupon Its Ordered by the Court that the Same Indians make a pen or pound in the said Town And putt in all such horses and mares as they Shall find trespassing as afd &c but ye further it is Ordered that the said Indians Impounding any Such horses or mares as afd on them trespassing that they the said Indians shall give the Owner of Such horses or Mares due Notice according to Law &c William White son of Stevens White Late of Somersett County Gent dec.d being of full age according to Law for the Choseing his Guardian Comes ^here^ into Court and prays that he may be admitted to Chose William Whittington of Somersett County Esqr his Guardian which is Granted &c Thereupon (the said William Whittington having all the Estate of the Said William White in his hands both reall and personall) Its Ordered by the Court that the Said William Whittington give good Security unto the Said William White ^to Comply^ with the Law in Every respect Relating to ^the^ Guardianship afd &c Whereupon the Said William Whittington together with Joseph MccClester and Hugh Porter of Somersett County ^Gentlemen his Securitys^ present here in Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the afd William White his heirs and assignes in the full & Just Sume of twelve hundred pounds Sterr ^mony of Great Brittain^ Joyntly & Severally on their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or Tenements to be Levied for the Use of the Said Will.m White In Case the Said William Whittington do not in Every Respect Comply with the Law ^in^ Relation to Guardians afd ^and^ Likewise do not deliver upon the said to the Said William White ^all his Estate^ both reall & personall ^as afd^ when Legally demanded quietly and peaceably &c without any Molestation or disturbance whatsoever &c Stephen Tully appointed Overseer of the road in Nanticoke hundred from quanticoe Mill to Spring hill Chappell &c
