Samuel Flewellin do not Learn the said Ann Fowler to read well in the Bible and to sew and to give her
a three years old heifer at the Expiration of her servitude and to find her sufficient meat drink washing
and Lodging and Cloathing Mete for her to have & wear dureing her servitude afd &c

Thomas Fowler son of Thomas Fowler dec.d is bound by the Court ^and^ of his Own Consent unto
Nicholas Evans untill he arrives to the age of Twenty One Years he being fourteen
Years Old the Ninth day of may Last the said Thomas Fowler to serve the said Nicholas
             Evans the full term of time afd  In consideration of which service the said Nicholas Evans
    undertakes to Learn him to Read & Write and the trade of a Shoemaker and to Instruct him in
    Tanning and to give him a Sett of Shoemakers Tooles at the Expiration of his servitude and a three
    Year Old heifer   and to find him sufficient Meat drink washing Lodging and apparell dureing
    his servitude afd &c    Thereupon It's ordered by the Court that the said Nicholas Evans give
    Recognizance to Comply with the Covenants afd      Whereupon the said Nicholas Evans together
    with John Evans Sen.r his security both present in Court acknowledged themselves to owe and
    stand Justly Indebted unto the said Thomas Fowler his heirs and assigns in the full and Just Sum
    of thirty pounds Sterling to be Levied on their bodys goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements for
    the use of the said Thomas Fowler   In Case the said Nicholas Evans doth not Learn him to Read &
    Write and the Trade of a Shomaker and to Instruct him in Taning and to give him a Sett of Shoemakers
    Tooles at the Expiration of his Servitude and a three Year Old heifer and to find him in
    sufficient Meat drink washing Lodging & Cloathing dure^ing^ his servitude afd mete for him to have &
    were &c

John Hopkins
John Jerman an Orphan is bound by the Court and of his Own Consent unto John
Hopkins untill he arrives to the age of Twenty One Years he being                 years
old                  the said John Jerman to Serve the Said John Hopkins the full term
    of time afd   In Consideration whereof the Said John Hopkins is to Learn the Said John Jerman
    to Read well in the bible and the trade of a tanner and to give him a heifer three Years Old at the Expiration
    of his servitude and to find him with Sufficient Meat drink washing Lodging and Cloath dureing
    his servitude afd   thereupon it's ordered by the Court that the said John Hopkins give security
    to Comply with the Covenants afd   Whereupon the Said John Hopkins together with Cannon Winright
    his security and acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the said John
    Jerman in the Sum of forty pounds Sterr on the bodys Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly
    and Separately to be Levied for the Use of the said John Jerman  In Case he doth not Learn him to
    Read well in the Bible and the trade of a tanner and to give him a three Year Old heifer at the Expiration
    of his servitude and to find him with good and Sufficient meat drink washington Lording and apparell
    mete for him to have and wear dureing his servitude afd &c
