48 Court thereon and not to depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof &c Likewise a Certain Roger Nicholson Jun.r present here in Court Undertakes for the said Edmond Huggin as his Security and acknowledged himselfe to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Said Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors in the Sum of fifty pounds Sterr to be Levied on his Body goods and Chattells Lands or Tenements for the use of his Said Lordship the Lord proprietary In Case the Said Edmond Huggins do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of the County Court of Somersett the third tuesday of November Next at dividing Creek to answer unto his Said Lordship Concerning all Such Matters and things as shall be then and there Objected against him on his Said Lordships Behalfe and to stand and abide ye Judgm.t of the Court thereon and not to depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof &c Whereupon It's Ordered by the Court that John Davis Jun.r of the County of Sussex upon Delaware and William Philips of Somersett County give recognizance for their appearance at November Court Next to give Evidence for the Lord proprietary against Edmond Huggins &c Thereupon the Said John Davis Jun.r and William Phillips present here in Court acknowledged them Selves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors ^in^ twenty pounds Sterr Each to be Levied on their bodys good or Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of his Said Lordship In Case the Said John Davis and Phi William Phillips do not make their personall appearance before the Justices of the County Court of Somersett at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of Novem Next to give Evidence on behalfe of the Lord proprietary against the afd Edmond Huggins &c Ceaser a negro boy of the reverend James Robertsons is adjudged to be of the age of Ten Years this Term &c
he sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing dureing her Servitude &c Thereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the said Samuel Flewelling give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd Whereupon The said Samuel Flewellin with Merrick Ellis his security both present in Court acknowledged themselves to owe Joyntly and Severally unto the Said Ann Fowler her heirs and assignes in the full and Just Sum of twenty pounds Sterling to be Levied on their bodys goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements for the Use of the Said Ann Fowler In Case the Said (Samuel) |
