       August Court         1725                     47

In Case they do not make their personall appearance before the Justices of assize Nisi prius oyer and terminer
and Goal delivery the first tuesday of September Next to give Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against
the said William Robertson and not to depart the Court without Lycence thereof &c

    Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that John Davis Jun.r of the County of Sussex upon Delaware &
Philip Wingate of Somersett County give Security in the sum of forty pounds Sterr Each for their appearance
before the Justices of assize Nisi prius oyer and terminer and Goal delivery at Dividing Creek the
third ^first^ tuesday of September Next to give Evidence on behalfe of the Lord proprietary against a Certain
William Roberson   Thereupon the said John Davis and Philip Wingate both present in Court
acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the Right honrble the Lord
proprietary of this province his heirs and Successors in the Sum of forty pounds Sterr Each to be Levi'd
severally on the ^their^ goods and Chattells Lands and tenements for the Use of his Said Lordship in Case
the said John Davis and Philip Wingate do not make their personall appearance before the Justices
of assize Nisi prius oyer and terminer and Go^a^le delivery the first tuesday of September Next
to give Evidence on behalfe of his said Lordship against the said William Robertson and not
to depart the Court without Leave thereof &c

                   Likewise a Certain Thomas Gordan of Somersett County present here in Court as undertakes
for the said John Davis and Philip Wingate and acknowledged himselfe to owe and stand
Justly Indebted unto the Right honrble the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors in the Sume
of forty pounds Sterr for Each of them to be Levied on his Body goods and Chattells Lands and
tenements for the use of his said Lordship   In Case the said Jn.o Davis Junr & Philip Wingate do not
make their personall appearance before the Justices of assize Nisi prius oyer & terminer and Goal
Delivery the first tuesday of September Next to give Evidence on behalfe of the Lord proprietary goe
against William Robertson and not to depart ye same Court with^out^ Leave thereof &c

 Upon the Complaint of Levin Gale Clerk of Indictments to this Court against a Certain

Edmond Huggins of Somersett County for his unlawfull Ranging &c whereupon the said
                         Edmond Huggins present in Court is ordered to give security for his appearance at November
          Court Next &c       Thereupon the said Edmond Huggins acknowledged himselfe to Owe and Stand
    Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors in the Sum of fifty pounds
    Sterling to be Levied on his body goods and Chattlles Lands or Tenements for the use of his Said Lordship
    the Lord proprietary   In Case he does not make his personall appearance before the Justices of
    the County Court of Somersett the third tuesday of November Next to be held at Dividing Creek to
    answer unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary Concerning all Such Matters and things as Shall be then
    and there Objected against him on his Lordships behalfe and to Stand and abide the Judgmt of the
