 Somersett fs:  Michael Holland Late of Somersett County planter al.s dictus
Michael ^Holland^ of this County of Somersett in the province of Maryland was Sumoned
to answer unto Levin Denwood al.s dict Leaven Denwood of a plea that he
                         Render unto him the full and Just Sum of one hundred and sixty pounds Curr.t money of
       Maryland which to him he Oweth and from him he unjustly detaineth &c
                   And whereupon the Same Levin Denwood by Levin Gale his attorney saith that whereas
       the afd Michael Holland the twenty Ninth day of may Seventeen hundred and twenty two
       at Somersett County within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his Certain Writing Obligatory granted
       himselfe to be held and firmly bound unto the afd Levin Denwood in the afd Sum of One hundred
       and Sixty pounds Curr.t money of maryland to be paid the Same Levin Denwood when afterwards
       he should be thereto required Yett the afd Michael altho' often thereto required the
       afd Sum of One hundred and Sixty pounds to the afd Levin Denwood he hath Not Rendered
       but he the same hitherto to render hath altogether denyed and still doth deny and detaine
       whereby the ^same^ Levin Denwood saith he is worse and hath damage to the value of one hundred
       pounds Curr.t money and thereof he brings this Suite   Levin Gale P Quer Pledgs &c Jno Doe R Roe
       and the Same Levin brings here into Court the writing obligatory afd which the debt afd doth
       testifie               Whereupon the Said Michael Holland at the prayer of the plfts afd is adjudged to
       give special bail to the action afd
                                                                   Thereupon a Certain Michael Holland Jun.r of Somersett
                                                                                                                                     (County)
