 Somersett County fs:  Nathaniel Horsey of Coventry parish in the County of Somersett
Mariner alias dict Nathaniel Horsey of Somersett County in the province of Maryland
was Sumoned to answer unto Amos Garrott of Annarundell County in the said province
             merchant of a plea that he Render unto ^him^ forty pounds Curr.t money which to him he Owes and unjustly
       detaines &c             And whereupon the same Amos Garrott by Francis Allen his attorney saith that whereas
       the said Nathaniel the tenth day of June seventeen hundred & seventeen at Somersett County within the
       Jurisdiction of this Court by his Certain Bill Obligatory which the said Amos with the seall of the said Nathaniel
       signed hereinto Court brings the date whereof is the same day and year did bind himselfe his heirs
       Executors and adm.rs to pay unto the said Amos his heirs Ex.rs ^admrs^ of Certain attorney the sum of twenty pounds
       Curr.t money at or upon the Eleventh day of that Instant June to the which payment well & truely to
       be made the afd Nathaniel bound himselfe his heirs Executors and administrators in the penall sum of
       forty pounds Curr.t money by the same bill and the same Amos in fact saith that the afd Nathaniel hath
       not paid to him the said Amos at or upon the afd Eleventh day of June the afd twenty pounds Cour.t mony
       afd Nevertheless the said Nathaniel tho' often Required the said forty pounds Curr.t money afd to the
       afd Amos as yett he hath not Rendered but the same to him hitherto to Render hath denyed & Still doth
       deny whereupon he saith he is worse and hath damage to the Value of forty pounds Currt money afd
       and thereupon he brings suite &c    F Allen P Quer Pledges deft Jno Doe R Roe

          And the Said Nathaniel Horsey by Levin Gale his attorney Comes and defends the force & Injury
       when &c and Sayeth prays Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the
       same day is given to the plft also                        Att which said Next Court to witt the sixteenth day
       of June Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred & twenty four Came againe as well the said Amos Garrott
       as the afd Nathaniel Horsey by their attorneys afd and the said Nathaniel Horsey prayeth further Leave
       to Imparle hereunto untill the Next Court and he hath it and the same day is Given to the Same
       Amos Garrott also         Att which said next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of August anno Dom
       One thousand seven hundred & twenty four Came again as well the afd Amos Garrott as the afd Nathaniell
       Horsey by their attorneys afd the the of hereupon the said Nathaniel Horsey by his said attorney
       prayeth further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it & the same day is
       given to the afd Amos Garrott also         Att which said next Court to witt the seventeenth day of Novem
       Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred & twenty four Came again as well the afd Amos Garrott as the
       afd Nathaniel Horsey by their attorneys afd and thereupon the said Nathaniel Horsey prayeth further
       Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the Next Court and he hath it & the Same day is given to the afd
       Amos Garrott also            Att which said next Court to witt the sixteenth day of March ann Dom
       One thousand seven hundred & twenty four Came againe as well the afd Amos Garrott as the afd
